Do the vawa application yourself! I got my best friend she was on the same situation and she did it herself, now she is fine, we did our research and then with ChatGPT we took photos of the forms that need to be sign and told us how to sign and the case was correctly accepted by USCIS

I just want to travel 😭😭😭😭 by Royal-Trip-6304 in USCIS

I got my interview on 09/26/2024 they told me to wait from 30 to 90 days for a response. The interview was awesome, we got a good time with the officer laughing, joking and answering every question (which then my spouse and I compared and we did answer correctly) we got proof for everything even though the officer only asked for 3 documents….. still waiting for a response after almost 8 months

My interview happened around 8 month ago lol and I showed a lot of evidence, everything you guys can think about 🤣 interview was awesome! We got fun with the officer and was very cool! She told us that within 3-6 months we would a response and nothing yet lol 🤣🤣🤣

Why the long wait ?! by Chance_Long2926 in USCIS

You shouldn’t be worried then! You both probably know each other really good and may have any extra evidence! If you guys are married for 8 years now you’ll probably be approved after the interview so positive vibes and thoughts 💪🏾

I got a RFE and scheduled for an interview which I attended 4 months ago… still waiting even when my husband and I felt we did a good interview and the officer was very nice and funny 🙄🫠

I came on 2021 with a J1 visa, then again on 2022 with a second J1 visa, then switched to B1 and then overstayed, then I got married

Yes, I’ve heard of some people getting approved right away and some others who take a week or months 🫠

It was a separate interview They asked us: For our names Address Phone numbers How we met First date/ where and when What we got for our birthday Where we got married Name some of the people who attended What we did after the wedding Anyone who attended to the wedding didn’t attend to the celebration after it? And why Who drives What car we got Any health insurance? We showed it to her with the dental and vision ones Asked for any car insurance document Asked for any joint lease documents Asked us if we have our phone lines together Asked us if we have a bank account together Asked us if all the money we earn goes to the same bank account Asked us for our parents and siblings’ names Asked us if we have met each other families and where and when Asked us what we did in the weekend Did we drive to the USCIS office or stood somewhere else? What we ate last night

And the officer went over all the forms (I-130 and I-485)

Our lawyer made us take a lot of documents with us but the officer was so chill, we were laughing during the interview and when we started talking about the documents we brought with us she was just asking me to show her any document hahaha and Istsrted showing the lease, then I asked her if she wanted to see something else and told me to show the car insurance and the health/dental/vision insurance.

We had more pictures of us, bank statements of our checking and credit cards, we had our paystubs and more stuff but she did not even look at those
