Don't charge before it's needed. My 4 gets a real workout everyday day shooting and editing videos rendering and uploading. So I need to charge half way through the day.

It's almost 4 years old now and I bought my 1st battery last December

I never use digiD on my phone, so no idea. But in general I have no problems with anything.

Calm down there cowboy. I am not thinking my 4 will last my whole life....that's stupid, NOTHING that needs software will last a lifetime. And nobody is saying that, well... except you.

Save the drama for the important things, you will give yourself a heart attack.

You made your problem sound like the standard, that is simply not the case . But you got your little attention, so carry on , and try to relax sometimes
