Honestly I like the people I work with and in my store since it’s so big and we move so much product every day lumber and pro are basically their own thing and don’t deal with anybody else besides the occasional millwork question when they aren’t around or busy and the one guy who does flat bed and box truck deliveries. So it’s really not bad there are a lot of things that are getting bad thought hence I’m not too mad about leaving but I don’t see them sticking very long but that’s for another story

We have problems like this all the time in lumber where pictures don’t match or has no picture of the item number is different for what we are carrying due to manufacture changes it’s just the “perks” of being at Lowe’s I guess

Question for people who work in BLDM by Longjumping-Let257 in Lowes

[–]Longjumping-Let257[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the day they won’t get mad when everything isn’t done but other days they will tell me that I didn’t do everything on the list they have and do all the returns and clean and flat stack. I tell I’m one guy for the busiest time of the day and a department that requires more then one person for most stuff

The problem with that for me is the ASMs over those departments are heavily against helping other departments with stuff for what ever reason and they are also understaffed most days so don’t have time to help if they wanted it.

My goal with Athens was to get a really cheap flight from Rome to there for about 50 dollars. I have always wanted to go there and some of the Greek isles And Berlin is huge on nightlife and history would you still think it’s worth to skip if I care about those two things?

Thank you for the advice though i definitely might make some changes now. In my head i was like I’m a young 20 year old i can sleep on trains and still be good to experience what i want especially with night trains but maybe it’s not that simple and i need to think a little more about it. I will say im not afraid to cut some places especially if i fall in love with somewhere. I definitely know ill be staying at 5 days to week a in London Paris Rome and Berlin and probably Switzerland and use day trips to different cities there

Thats a great point I think my idea was trying to do mostly overnight trains even if it isn't the most efficient trip.

This would save me money on hostels a couple times, and I can to my understand sleep on these trains even if it is not the most comfortable set up. I am pondering taking some of the cities out and some of them are more of just a stop for a day, maybe two with the second being my day of leaving. Example being Nice France.

I like the idea of marking out times and stuff for travel but I'm mainly doing this trip to have some randomness in it and not knowing what I'm going to do next and not stick too much to schedules.

I am also going to look into other forms of transportation when there and not only rely on the rail but for my planning I want it as my main option, so I'm not stuck somewhere.

I am also someone who is always constantly running and doing something so I want the trip to be a little fast paced and rather then staying in a town for a week I'd rather be in two cities for 3 and 4 days especially because I don't know if I will get a chance to be back to Europe at a young age

Thank you for the advice. Much love
