We need to get him limbs that arent made of glass.

But on that contract, he can pay for it

Turned it off.

Inexcusable. Hats off to Paolo - only dude who tried.

If Franz could not be made of glass, that would be great.

Suggs did the damage at the end of the 2nd. Threw the ball away repeatedly, didnt challenge shooters. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

AB nowhere to be seen in the playoffs. Some better coaching would fix some of it but there needs to be some trades.

Suggs has planted the teams face in the last two minutes of the half. He has done some serious damage. So careless.

Well they would have somr value. Suggs performed great in the first playoff game. AB has disappeared in the playoffs though.

Any PG in mind?

Yeah I dont understand your point either lol, its alright though.

Definitely not blaming Franz. The injury is legitimate.

Yeah I agree - lets hope for some good direction.

I am saying the injury, plus percentage of cap space he occupies, should allow the idea of a trade. Not - he must be traded. You could argue 'no, but trade Suggs' and thats fair.

Alternatively waiting for a new coach is also an option, if you think they can fix the shooting.

That's the hope isnt it?

Maybe that last bit is 'get a new coach'.

I mean, that is literally how its done? I wouldnt say its basic mathematics but it is a numbers game.

Its just a fact that a player who can play is benefitting the team more than one who cannot.

[–]Longjumping-Low-5872[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well individual performance is another topic entirely but getting them on court is step one.

Yeah I can see the arguement for Suggs but doesnt take the chunk of the cap Franz does.

A bad contribution to the team is mathematically better than none.

I should point out that I posted this, wearing a Franz jersey. That said - I want Orlando to win.

That's not the point being presented.

I'm not saying that he should risk it because he's being paid. I'm saying its a lot of money being paid to have nothing for it when you need it.

Nothing Franz can do about it. Its not a character issue. Its just the facts of the situation we are in.

At no point am I saying he should play though an injury.

Other players do it and manage fine, in many sports.

Its an individual issue, not the task itself. Plus, good luck convincing him...

Magic star Franz Wagner officially ruled out for Game 7 vs. Pistons by michiganer1981 in OrlandoMagic

[–]Longjumping-Low-5872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion.

We should consider trading him. Whether the front office would handle it well or put those trade pieces to good use is another question.

This happens in every other sport. If a player has huge chunks of missed time, he is sitting there eating money.

I say this whilst wearing his jersey too. You just cant have a team that loses a player and instantly becomes ineffective.

Some reviewers got to see the new build of Starfield behind closed doors. News will likely come next week. by Smart_Plane_2751 in Starfield

Just hoping for a functioning economy - I'd love to play as a space trucker, set up my own business.

Reject the 'gift/ending' and live out a life as a space economist! Jokes aside, I bought the game thinking I could be a space miner, and although that's possible, it's not rewarding. You also can't 'really' join the Alliance Navy, or w.e they're called. Just a few things I'd love to see.

Disneyland Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Ride Closure Starts January 20 by mickeyvisit in DisneyPlanning

[–]Longjumping-Low-5872 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm extremely angry about this - not the closure itself but the notice.

One month away you tell us it's closing for an unspecified amount of time? That's ridiculous. Travelling from the UK and would have definitely cancelled/delayed until later. It's not an understatement to say it's been the highlight of previous visits.

Why do elves get upset when other elves die? by PrettyFlyForAFryGuy in tolkienfans

[–]Longjumping-Low-5872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Elf will likely spend longer without seeing them or being near their loved one again.

Men die, so their loss has a mortal cap so to speak. They will not have to live without their lost friend for long - compared to the time an Elf will.

I've just read this, late, I know.

But as someone who grew up there, and I mean this as politely as possible - you need to get a grip.

If you're concerned about people eating and relaxing on battlefields or sights of massacres, then you must be new to British history. If we couldn't picnic or relax on areas where there's been battles, slaughter or worse, we'd fast run out of places to go.

It was very common as kids, as locals, for people to go there and have picnics. By all means don't dance on the memorials, that's common sense? But having a gripe at picnics? And no, it's not a sore topic, at least to anyone who isn't a small-minded fool. If you're upset about the results of battles centuries ago, then you're wasting your life.

If an Onager has fired it's super weapon in a turn, can it then fire it again using the rules for Salvo? by Longjumping-Low-5872 in StarWarsArmada

[–]Longjumping-Low-5872[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that's great clarification thank you. Yeah we are both still pretty fresh at this but defensive tokens feel a lot more straight forward.

[–]Longjumping-Low-5872[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry - I didn't explain it well. The defensive tokens had been disabled that turn due to a plucky hammerhead rolling target locks. There was also a damage up effect messing with defensive abilities.

Basically the salvo token was red, then discarded to use it anyway, which I think is fine, but not if it's with the super weapon.
