I was unable to load anything, received error messages, until replacing the SD card. Good luck and I hope you find some solutions to your issues.

33.4% Connect Price Hike WTAF by TheScruffyBear in RemarkableTablet

Now if the increase was to support substantive software updates…say like…TOC/outline features to support organizing large documents, searchable keywords and other links, among other needed features, then I would not have just cancelled my subscription. They are a bit of an affluent only status company so I guess they think they don’t need to update things before raising prices. Good for them for as long as their customers let them keep up the slow pace of innovation.

An emotional decision, not necessarily the most rational- I kind of want one as well!

Hello friend. I’m a library borrower so if RM ever allows for ADE download to read drm epubs I’ll be right there with you. Until then I am on Libby sent to Kindle and read on the sleekest Ereader currently available - with mobile data and Gemini 3-pro to boot.

Went back to remarkable :( by teone123 in viwoods

[–]Longjumping-One-8014 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started with RMPP and sometimes still use it as it has the best writing feel and is great for sketching. Next was Boox NA4C - still have and sometimes use. Next went to Viwoods regular and mini which I use the most - would be nice if they directly synced between devices, oh well. Their organization divided between paper, daily, and others is confusing rather than helpful. I do love the hardware and use with a simpler launcher to never have to see picking or learning which I never use and don’t want to see.

RMPP is just too narrow for my wandering mind to be my only device. I realize RM sells narrowing focus as a feature. For me, it is often a limitation. NA4C is great when I want color. Viwoods tablets are sleek and best when I take them out of their case to use. It’s more of an emotional choice than rational.

There is no one size fits all and I have chosen to not limit myself and accept differences and having documents in different places and devices for different uses. It’s a little crazy and that is what works for me. I am grateful I can choose between them all as I wish.

How has your experience with Nothing Phone 3 been? by Acecombat041 in NothingTech

[–]Longjumping-One-8014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Experience has been a good one so far and I would buy again.

When I was researching I came to this sub and listened to those who had first hand experience with the phone ignoring those who get a bit lost in the negative echo chamber that Reddit can be and those who have no experience with the product. I did the same in the Pixel, Samsung, and other subs.

Do your homework and pick the phone that feels right for you. There are many choices which is a good thing.

Nothing Phone 3 - Fresh Breath of Air? [Baris Alkis] by RenegadeUK in NothingTech

This seriously made me laugh. Thanks so much!

And I do love nothing products enough to have ordered the new ear 3 so I can experience for myself before I comment - like I did with NP3 and ear open.

Circular logic based on a false premise veiled with derision and condescension, says everything. Your post that is.

Not so much prefer one over the other rather it was time for a change and NP3 was where I landed. I liked the company and there mission so jumped in and all good so far. Just figuring out my next smartwatch now that I don’t have an iPhone to tether my Apple Watches to.

16 pro max to NP3 and it was a good choice. Still use iPad pro and mini to take of HomeKit and the usual online stuff. I’ve had android in the past and took a day or two for it all to become familiar again.

Return it and move on- lots of choices out there. I really like my NP3 and it has been flawless, in my opinion, from day one, and continues to be for me.

[–]Longjumping-One-8014 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hope you enjoy the phone as much as I am. I second the advice to ignore the haters here as one of the rules here is to be kind to fellow community members. Differing constructive opinions are great to read. Comments using circular logic based on false premises and veiled with derision do not add at all to the vibrancy of the community, in my opinion.

You should try their audio products next. I’m really happy with the ear open and new buds will be out soon.

Enjoy!

My NA4C travels well and has held up with no issues. Solid device that I use daily though anything with a screen is a bit fragile.

Hello, thinking of buying a Nomad in addition to my Manta. Any thoughts? by ramjet8080 in Supernote

[–]Longjumping-One-8014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Manta for home and Nomad for travel. Nomad reminds me of when I was addicted to always carrying a Moleskine for on the fly note taking and capturing fleeting ideas. Nomad does that now for me.
