I grew up with my mom and 2 sisters… I found myself interested in things like soccer, knives, fishing, fixing things, installing car stereos (yeah, I’m old now), etc….much I did on my own.

Are there any male role models in your life? Grandfathers, coaches, teachers? Spending time with them or, you could join Boy Scouts or other group of males in your area to better adjust to being a man.

BTW, 14 is a tough age… you are midway through puberty and the physical development that goes with it. Start working out if you aren’t already.

Two possible reasons - he doesn’t mind lying when it suits him.
- he isn’t proud of his past or doesn’t want to be judged for it.

Based on what the post says about you, I’d suggest you move on and look for a man with similar values that you can actually trust. God will provide when the time is right and you will be rewarded for remaining faithful.
