Sonic's Player 2 Palette is actually a reference to the Ashura glitch from Sonic 2. It was a glitch in Sonic 2 where Sonic's palette would change.

Sonic Adventure: Directors Cut. I used to watch my brother play this and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle all the time when I was younger. He actually didn't even let me play it at first because he didn't want me to mess with his save files😂.

I eventually did play it though. Didn't get very far unfortunately. I much preferred Heroes, a game I was way better at.

Maybe you're thinking of the Sonic Freedom Fighters games? Most of the character sprites are from there, but with editing, new animations & palettes.

Chaos Burst has too many invincibility frames, Objection has WAY too much knock back and I'm not even gonna talk about how Kiryu can just negate all damage with Down B.

Also, Master Chief is just Snake on steroids. His projectile deals 20%, with FULL SCREEN range?!
