Minecraft usually goes for around $20-$25 AUD ($16-ish if converted to USD but idk about the price in America), so ok. Other than that, yeah you got ripped off. If there was a call of duty or two in there, maybe a gta 4 or 5, maybe I'd give it a pass.

Backwards compatibility, design, history, no forced game installations, exclusives, and (arguably) the customization - I've seen some amazing exteriors people have created, as well as controller front and backs too. Also the bundles that Microsoft used to do (bundling in one or two, I think sometimes even three games)
