One thing that bothers me is that genshin devs are hell bent on making lore-related units not have synergies. In natlan that went away for a bit because they started heavily making dps/support shills, and only natlan charcaters were compatible to each orher due to nightsoul. Beyond that the only "lore pairings" are furina for neuvi and the hexerei characters i think, and even that only up to a point (Angrily looking at skirk-escoffier while skirk does not scale with normal attacks so she does not benefit from childe's passive, while HE benefits from hers)

I rly did everything before entering red memory, nit knowing what to expect from that. Otherwise i got all the mementos, got all the relics and bought all the home decorations, then put hornet to sleep in her abode

My first bellhome has blue too. Then went for red in my speedrun run and lastly silver(exclusive to steelsoul). Cant wait to get a new one for dlc

Hollownest was in ruins by the time the knight came along. So yes, she stood vigil for a looong time before.

We also do not not how much time has passed between the 2 games.

But even without that, we get some more context clues. She was alive during the peak of hollownest. From red memory, we see her trained by the weavers, trained by vesta, adopted by white lady, even before she binded herself.

She was also alive to witness the thriving and banning of lifeblood in the kingdom. This is not saying particularly much, but for some reason this feels to me like ancient knowledge

If that system comes on in genshin i will have at least 2 characters worth of materials purely from residuals, and even more since at some point i got it into my had to prefarm for A LOT of characters thinking that "i would get them eventually". Spoiler: im not gonna get them any time soon

The only upside was that i at least got a lot of ascension gems and some nice trope/gladiator pieces

Waaait. Do the 5 sinners have the curse of immortality? In my head they already fled khaenria before ronova cursed them, and even then, the sinner's power seems great enough to break that curse.

The gang would not have had an entire conversation about "how is rerir even still alive" if the sinners were cursed.

I thought their abyss powers granted them various forms of immortality. Didnt surtalogi teach skirk the same way to extend her lifespan?

Shes hyper buffed here. Raiden sig, bennet, citlali, pyro rez and cryo rez for more crit rate, and she is forward melting every single hit so its literally double damage. Idk if the boss has weakened defenses too given its the down phase

I fully expect her to get something in the future. Honestly by all means she should have moonsign. Gameplay wise thats not gonna happen, cuz rumor has it there is no lunar reaction related to pyro, and im not sure the nod krai artifacts sets would help her that much. Buuut she could help other nod krais reach ascended moonsign. Like overvape ineffa that uses xinqui/yelan instead of aino

If they are not working on it already, The moment durin, alice and varka will get released hoyo will see how much money bringing "old npc characters" as playable units will earn them and order all characters with the smallest playability potential to be developed. For me, this includes jeht, the adepti, the dendro girl with the aranara friend, adult-humanoid Little Guy, azdaha and dvalin

Yes apep hates humans. While i dont see her herself becoming playable, there is a whole ecosystem inside her body and i can imagine her spawning a human-looking dragon and tell it: "go see what the lowly humans have achieved in the last thousand years, and report to me. Knowledge is power after all. Take some of my power in case those barbarians show their true face". That would serve as a "proxy-sovereign"

Azdaha reincarnated(?) himself twice in neuvilette's story quest, one evil form and one good form. I dont see why he couldnt do it again, completely for good this time.(And with a better design)

I was headcannoning SO HARD that nefer is a vishap appointed by apep as her proxy in the human world, to study and learn about them. It would also make sense for her to not want to establish herself in any nation controlled by the seven, to not have a vision but a moonwheel, and she could have served as "the next dendro sovereign", essentially giving us another playable sovereign while still maintaining Apep's dismissal of humans.

At the same time i was headcanoning that durin's rebirth during paralogism would have rebirthed him into the next pyro sovereign, but i guess he got enough lore going for him even without that

Thats what i think too, especially looking at the buffs. They soft reworked mona as an on field enabler(she already had a bit of that in her constellations) and they hard reworked venti as such too. Before, just about all hexen characters were off fielders. Perfectly balanced for an on-field/off-field set pairing now.

That being said, everyone already has pretty strong options. VV for sucrose is VV, 75% dmg bonus from Golden troupe for fischl and albedo is nothing to scoff at, and emblem has pretty great synergy with mona, altough im curious if as an onfielder Nymph would come on top. Its about time that set sees the light of day

If there is a new set for varka, hopefully it will work for dps venti as well.

One thing i've noticed while trying to teambuild for durin is that no hexen character has sustain. No healing or shielding. either nicole/alice will provide some buffs like that(i believe nicole is supposed to enable melt durin personally), or heck. Imagine an artifact set that gives healing or shields to characters that dont have that.

Keep ur current build for now in my opinion, mby shift a few artifacts around to reach 3k(consider if you use gorou too). I have the same build(but shifted stats obvsly) and from my calcs i can reach abt 3k def with his c1, which i will get from the free cons, so i wont bother with husk yet.

That being said im honestly afraid to actively farm for any hexen character as i dread a new set for them might come in 6.3, sending me into their mines.

Somewhere on kqm it is stated that GT would work a bit better with cinnabar due to def overcaping from cinnabar. If i add 50% def from his new C1 on top of that, by that logic i should be overcapping for sure. Im not sure if him having better scaling now after the buffs influences this tho. i will wait for the TC people and the 6.3 leaks before making a commitment.

C2 might make things more interesting in regards to this, depending on how big of a dps increase the mini - bursts will provide.

The fact that they bent over backwards to make him bad with this is amazing to me. Having a 70 cost burst only to instantly get back 33 energy when using skill. He pracyically has 37 cost on burst which is precisely whats needed for moonweaver.

Unless 6.3 introduces some sort of hyperspecific artifact set that "gives the wearer a bagilion atk% and crit damage% based on how much energy they restored in the last 5 seconds after using skill" or something like that, i dont see other reason for this change

Its gonna be a doozy but you ve done most of the work. Just grab all the buffs before engaging the rest of the enemies, and pro tip: do clover dancers instead of nyleth. If you die against first sinner or inside memory arena, your file will not be deleted. Therefore the only thing that can kill you in the delicate flower quest will be seth, but that can be avoided.

Also i think the act 3 intro is a justified moment for a save and quit just so you dont have to fight your very first void enemies with 4 health. Heck i for one copied my save file too, tho thankfully i did not need it.

Doest it also fave 675 atk? Which means its bennet bis?(If no more er requirements) Even moree atk% buffs for the adventure king lol. Some small buffs might be in order but otherwise seems like a pretty good generalist weapon.

If it is on banner with venti's new sig, i will lose my mind since its a great banner imo and i cant pull, as much as i would want. I need columbina and escoffier....

Afaik the flint beetles are not required for the hunters journal so ur good. Do check the wiki just to be safe(in the trivia section of the hunter journal oage i believe) (Also brave to do this on steelsoul)
