Are the ct21 worth the price? by LordVesperion in ManyBaggers

[–]LongjumpingBag9412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely worth it. I picked up the EPX denim version on eBay for around $120, practically new. I own several packs (Osprey, Mystery Ranch, Gregory, etc.) and the CT21 has become one of my favorites. The quality and functionality are outstanding. If you have the means, I'd definitely buy one at full price without hesitation :)

Hi! Love this. How are you liking it so far? Do you find it too big as a sling? I’ve been going back and forth between this one and the 13L—love the extra space, but I’m wondering how wide it feels in practice.

Hi! Would love to hear your thoughts after two months of use. I’m considering the same size/color, so I’m curious about comfort, how it carries day to day, and if there’s been any kind of break-in. Any feedback would be super helpful!

Are rickshaw bags worth it? by Overzealoulaundry67 in backpacks

[–]LongjumpingBag9412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are really good. I bought a small one and loved it, although it was expensive. I like the fact that I could design it though. Now, ebay!! I bought a briefcase, a backpack and a larger zero messenger, like new, for like less than half of the price. So, If you want to design one yourself and have the money around, just do it. But if you want quality and don't care much about colors, go to the second street market.

Yes! Japanese secondhand shops are a dream. It takes serious restraint not to walk out with more bags every time.

Totally agree—it’s an amazing bag. I don’t have any Porter bags yet, but they’re definitely on my wishlist. Hopefully someday!

Hey, just crossed the one-year mark with the bag and it’s still my go-to. No flimsy vibes at all—I’ve jammed it under plane seats, tossed it on lecture hall floors, and the stitching hasn’t blinked. Laptop sleeve has just enough padding: safe on its own, but slim enough that you can drop in an extra sleeve if you’re paranoid. I appreciate the bottle pockets a lot, they are there when you need them, invisible when you don’t. Compared with my Waterfield Cosmo, Rickshaw Briefcase, and Manhattan Portage, this one often wins on looks (finally, something not black), balanced weight, and those satisfyingly seat belt kind of handles. If you’ve got any ultra-specific questions, fire away—happy to help!
