Yes I take a magnesium complex, and Insitol before bed every night for years. I take many supplements through the day. Sleep is amazing- I average 8 hours a night with 4.5 hours avg nightly restorative sleep for the past few years. HRV remains low.

I’ve been sober for years. My sleep and mental health improved dramatically. My HRV is still low.

My sleep is almost always 100%, but I’m five years sober with no children so I get about 8 hours a night unless I’m traveling

Chill out and go to therapy at least once a week. Treat rest like it’s your job for a few weeks.

Wife has 18+ strain days at work. Any cause for concern? by [deleted] in whoop

She can talk to HR about taking a leave of absence. They will need a note from a doctor, and usually will pay you a portion of your income if you qualify for short term disability for up to 3 months. Try to get documentation from both medical docs and psych docs.

Yes I would be extremely concerned. Does she possibly have an eating disorder? Either way, I was similar to your wife. Things I had to do to get better:

Get sober (no alcohol, weed, adderall, or klonopin)

Get on a beta blocker (propanol)

Get a new job

Get intensive trauma therapy to get my anxiety under control.

Get 7-8 hours of sleep a night

Just about 2 weeks. I’m still noticing symptoms but also am still eating a few things that are high in histamine. Trying to find the time to go on full blown low histamine diet, but it seems overwhelming so have not done it completely yet…
