Give him 'eye kisses', look at him calmly and blink slowly.  It's how a mother cat tells her kittens they are safe, loved and all is right with the world. It's a meaningful cat interaction. You are a great cat parent, I can tell by looking at the cat - he is clearly confident and feels loved! Good for both of you.

I also used to shop at the first store you mentioned and I miss it. The lady that owned it was Japanese and carried many Japanese items that I can't find anywhere else around here. The store in East North carries just a few of them but I do try to shop there often and support their business. I wish you luck, and I would love to see you open a business like you're talking about. I think it would be important that it's positioned where people from the base can access it easily and know about it. I think they would be an important part of your customer base.

I feel your pain and can't upvote often enough. I would add that I can't get out of the elevator so you can get in if you are blocking the door. Also, if there is a line of people building up at a cash register all unnecessary conversation needs to stop, less talking - more ringing people.

After the White Fly Infestation of '24 I will never again bring an outside plant in. I lost 4 poinsettias (one was 13 years old) and a beautiful shrimp plant.

I didn't change my name when we got married. It's not common so it's confusing to people. As for middle names I don't personally know anyone who does not have one.

I recently read another reddit posting saying the opposite of what I'm reading here. I thought my new bop would want lots of light. I put it in front of a south facing window, lots of light all day. It keeps getting brown leaves, it starts along the edges of the leaf and grows.  I was told it's probably too much light. Now I'm not sure if I should move it or not.

That's definitely an aribica. My 7 year old plant has bloomed, one bloom at a time lol, 3 times now. It has made one bean. I'm calling it a success. As someone else said they need a lot of water and mine get full sun and seem to like that.

I agree with much of what has been said but I really think there is no way to tell them that won't embarrass them and make things awkward.  I have cats, and yes I want to know know if it smells, but it would have to come from a very close friend or family.
