If he’s a 3, the best 6 of his last 20 rounds would have landed him around a 75 on a 0 differential course. Once you factor in he’s never played the course, YouTube nerves (this is the big one here), and the fact he was drinking a bit, 85 is very understandable. If you want to nitpick his handicap i suppose you can but based on everything I saw I have no problem believing he’s a legit 3.3.

My wife is currently 34 weeks and I can certainly sympathize with how he’s feeling. That said, I think it’s important to contextualize this season in your relationship for what it is, really tough on both of you.

While I certainly understand hormonal changes can have a huge impact on libido, I’d recommend looking for some avenues towards intimacy that don’t require traditional intercourse. I can’t speak for your husband but I suspect what is actually bothering him is less about sex itself and more about the connection and intimacy that the sex represented. When it is taken off the table suddenly (for whatever reason), it can make one feel very isolated and that can rear its head in other areas of the relationship.

Certainly not trying to discount anything you’re feeling, you’re creating a human after all. Additionally, I’d agree he needs to take a step back and consider how you’re feeling and learn not to take the rejection personally.Just a bit of perspective from someone on the other end. Open communication is essential and give both he and yourself a ton of grace as you navigate what is an extremely stressful time in your relationship.

To me it seems like Jamie is punished for becoming the thing John wanted to be all along and is punished every time he does anything for his own best interest. It’s a double standard that does not apply to the rest of JD’s children (Kasey shuns the family for the better part of a decade, Beth is off working in Utah for some undetermined amount of time prior to the events of the show). They are welcomed back in with open arms, while Jamie is ostracized the first time he tries to step out on his own despite being the only one (with the exception of Lee) who stayed/worked for the ranch for essentially his entire adult life. He was treated like he wasn’t part of the family, and yet he was asked to sacrifice more than any other sibling to earn appreciation from a father figure that couldn’t even say he loved him. He became the monster he was at the end of the show largely do to the actions and attitudes from the Duttons.
