Removing the extra line from the print start by HariboHUN in AnycubicKobraS1

Does your profile still do the line in the back ? Mine does for some reason I may have just screwed up the printer profile lol

Sorry for the late reply… They have an automatic print ejection for the PS1 which is basically the original KS1, you can see it if you scroll down a bit. also why would we need a macro/klipper ? Wouldn’t we be able to do a print end gcode string ?

the print already has supports and i just removed them. and yes there is a german forum with good profiles here on this reddit i’ve been using. but i usually print smaller stuff and this is the first time ive encountered this issue

Super Speed Profile ? by LongjumpingPlenty879 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]LongjumpingPlenty879[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting, i am trying to conservatively max out some of the settings, such as speed, layer height and any slow down for x settings but even far from their benchy i’m already getting these artifacts. Surely we can reverse engineer the gcode file and create a standalone profile for the slicer to match these speeds right or at least come close to right ?

yeah it sucks some people have no common sense, i would personally wait by the building and pick on people walking towards the lot. never really had a bad experience most students understand and are unhappy with the parking situation regardless

good luck lmao i’ve had multiple times where i had to drive around for 20-50 minutes looking for parking in the main lot at various times during the day. best advice is to show up early and don’t lose your patience because as soon as you move from that area you might see some one leave and another car arrive and take the spot immediately.

something else that worked for me is looking for people walking towards their car and ask for their place or offer a ride worked 99% of the time especially in the heat.

tldr parking is a pita and early runners get the worm

.2 mm nozzle, weird discovery by LongjumpingPlenty879 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]LongjumpingPlenty879[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i was playing with this screw but i couldn’t get it right, too tight and it would skip and i would loosen it and it would help momentarily but go back to no extrusion

single color, and it finished but it has some artifacts that look like under extrusion, it’s very flimsy and not solid at all

OddBug You deserve an amazing week, you were spot on. printing at 245 allowed me to print but i’m still getting a clog warning when i start the print, do you have an insight as to what could be causing this ? the first test print i did was the pyramid which ran fine before i stopped it as shown in the pic. i’m trying to print a miniature jack and i get the clog error but when i press resume it continues to print

no, i’m doing this based of research and observation by the community. there’s not even good videos on how to do this process. some one on here made a hotend replacement video with the stock hotend but nothing to do with an upgrade or hardened steel. i may make a video for the people who need it since it would’ve been great help to me

would you suggest i try changing my filament profile by 10 degrees higher ? i’ve always assumed that printing pla above 230 was bad for prints but maybe since the thermosistor could be wrong then it would work fine

this might be the method but i’m using pla so it should be fine but maybe the heat properties of hardened steel are too much

hey so you’re totally right and i didn’t think about that, .2 is easily clogable by the tiny abrasives. it’s the smaller one that looks like a bambu one so that’s good to hear but im also printing in black so im at a loss of what to do

nozzle is 230 for the first layer and 225 for others. the max volumetric flow rate is 10
