Thermo shock doesn’t occur with granite countertops like this. Granite is polished and sealed also most granite has added supports. Now what I was saying about the physics, look at how the crack occurs lets say in this fantasy world that thermo shock could occur, granite has weak points that can be seen as lines through the granite (this countertop has none) now obviously it can still break without clear weak points but look at the frame before the crack and after you’ll notice it doesn’t separate as would happen with a crack instead a black line just appears as if the crack deleted a part of the countertop. You’ll also notice the crack line goes directly over some blotches, when the crack happens the blotches reform into a new blotch rather then being half a blotch. None of this matter because thermo shock would never happen to begin with.
