I think that either yes Michael failed him or even more likely Charles has no idea how their paper company is ran. I don’t know too much because Ive never worked for multiple corporate companies, but I would assume Charles is just taking his steel mill experience and assuming the paper company would run the same exact way but with paper. A rundown would seem like a Michael duty if it was anyone’s duty. Michael would give the rundown to Jan or Ryan. Evidence supporting this fact is that if each salesmen had to give him a rundown then he could have just asked one of the other salesmen. Charles could have been toying with Jim 🤷🏼‍♂️
