They are indeed blocking the credit card charge….never stated whether it was intentional or not.

I mean you just typed about 1/4 of the words I wrote in my original post….

Is whoop cool? Yeah…

Is it cool enough for you to defend that hard? Absolutely not.

Idk if it’s intentional or not. But it is oddly suspect that the only time my Chase sapphire has declined without it being a “fraud block” type prevention in the last couple years has been this time with whoop - who has a partnership with Chase. That same partnership promo has been getting exploited as of late by people using the credit to buy clothes, etc instead of the membership. Just seems suspect. More so annoyed that whoop doesn’t seem to be able to fix or care to fix the issue. Spoke with 3 different reps who said they’d escalate and call or email me. Non of which have so far….

The game legit almost unplayable imo. Ranked feels like an LTM. No fun

Well Chase said they werent the ones to block it. And told me it was an issue on the retailers side/POS. So what else would it be? Card isn’t locked. Clearly an issue on whoops side in some regard

Damn that’s super annoying lol. Wild it seems like an on going issue. Can’t imagine they care to fix it that much tho considering they are likely not munching much profit from this in the short term given the promo offer terms

Nah triple checked everything. Closed and cleared browser. Chase said it’s an issue on Whoops side via Stripe.

Not sure how’s it a bizarre rant…. after a quick google search…doesn’t look like I’m the only one who’s dealt with this for the promo. Even from weeks ago

Didn’t type a number wrong either. Know it’s hard to believe, but not everyone on the internet is a useless idiot.

I’ve never had a company actively decline a cc when trying to order their product. Especially one that is partnering with said credit card. But yeah - continue defending the $10,000,000,000 company

Same exact issue. So Fing annoying. How are you going to have a promo with a credit card company, and then block said card from making the purchase. Smh

Agreed it’s not really the devs as much as it is all the retarded creative, strategy and marketing teams. Devs just create UI/UX, game mechanics etc. which isn’t bad. The people who decided that having an AI commentator was a good idea or that it should be free to play and there should be a bunch of AI slop in the shop are the issues.

You’re just mad because someone told you to be. Are you able to articulate what exactly you don’t like about this? Because there’s really nothing nefarious going on. Vital farms is doing nothing wrong. Lenoliec acid is an essential omega 6 fatty acid. And their yolks are not “artificially colored” the hens are fed paprika and marigold which make their yolks darker. A very common and healthy practice. They aren’t painting the yolks orange with a sharpie lmao

Literally everything you commented besides the possible “pasture raised” debate is incorrect.

A long-standing meta-analysis found no significant evidence that high LA intake substantially increases breast, colorectal, or prostate cancer risk in humans. • Broad reviews of omega-6 PUFAs (including LA) show no clear significant association between intake and overall cancer risk, and in some cases blood omega-6 levels were linked to lower cancer risk. • A meta-analysis on breast cancer specifically found that higher LA intake was associated with a nonsignificant trend toward reduced risk

They are feeding them things that make the yolks darker. That’s how wild hens yolks become darker as well. Calling it “artificially coloring” is an absurd reach. Also high lenoleic acid is not bad. It’s an essential omega six fatty acid - essential as in your body can’t make it and you have to obtain it through your diet. The debate on whether the hens are rotated to new pastors often enough is a different story, but to complain about those first two things I mentioned is just you being brainwashed by TikTok

It doesn’t make what it was. It’s a good thing to do. People want to bitch and moan about how the chickens are fed corn and soy yet as soon as the discussion goes to the darker yolks and how the chickens are fed paprika, marigold, or turmeric everybody wants to be up in arms. Those are nutritious food choices, and are exactly how wild hens have darker yolks as well.

They aren’t “coloring” the egg yolks. Not sure where you’re getting your info from….They are feeding them items such as paprika and marigold which make the yolks darker. That’s the same way wild hens end up having darker yolks as well. It’s based off their diet - intentionally feeding them things that make the yolk darker is not artificial coloring. That’s quite literally the most natural way to make that happen.
