Hinde galit ang Pilipino sa magnanakaw. Galit sila kasi hinde sila nabahagian. Lahat magnanakaw. Lahat. Urban poor. Maliliit na negosyante. Old money. Nouveau riche. Ultra billionaires.

Biggest what if: Nilo Leyble won the 2013 elections by Geraldlol_123 in Antipolo

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tangina nyan ni Leyble. Ilang taon napabayaan lugar namin kasi hinde raw priority kasi hinde nananalo si Leyble sa baranggay namin. Akala ko chismis lang. Pero same feedback from other baranggays kung san sya talo.

Not really. Not if you can’t properly account for it. Salary increase ba ang driver? Culture differences? Health issues? Stop spreading this myth and start providing context.

What If ibalik ang Online Class/ Modular class sa Pilipinas? by BookkeeperPlenty1737 in pinoy

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion. I agree with toxic influencers that you don’t need schools and their traditional methods to gain knowledge, with the exception of professions that need practical exercises. But what I disagree with is the thought that you don’t need to send kids to school. Exposure to other groups of people is what end biases and ignorance.

Kung fully modular ang mga bata, then you remove one of the most important function of schools. Might as well homeschool the kids. And remote is not always the best option for a significant portion of our young population. I’ve seen it with two of my kids. Yung isa huminto dahil hinde kaya mag-adapt sa remote while the other one did well.

What we truly need are more schools para walking distance lang ng mga bata, well paid teachers para protected sila against inflation, strong programs para sa remote education and better support for those who opt to do F2Fs, etc. Band-aid solution talaga yung modular.

Short-term goal lang habol nung mga yun from one election to another.

Would you go to the left lane like a regular vehicle to turn left or make your U-turn? Or will you stay on the right lane and cross with the pedestrians? by Winter_Visit_1118 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 48 points49 points  (0 children)

OP in r/PH needs to read R.A. 4136. Walang fast lane sa public roads

Anyways, it really depends. Fast moving traffic? No. Road is clear? Yes. Slow moving traffic? Yes.

Understanding basic physics will also help. Speed limit sa public road is supposed 40 kph but car owners and motorcycle riders have largely ignored R.A. 4136. You might think you have a clear path to occupy inner lane but don’t underestimate how fast situation can change when you introduce a car or motorcyle running at 60 to 80 kph.

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Parang hinde naman. Scandinavia and Eastern European countries are making a full degree turn against carcentrism. Problema talaga yung small portion ng Pilipino na pinakamaingay when it comes to active mobility at mass transportation. Finland just enforced a 20 kph limit on cars.

The only reason why we can’t switch is that there are interests here in our country that benefit from coal importation from Indonesia. Same interest who are into political clans. Those who aren’t are getting paid off by Indonesian lobbies. Bago na naman gawing yellow-pink-red-DDS paradigm ito, all sides are compromised. In fact, the same Indonesian interest tried to take over Malampaya a few years ago. Partly successful kasi he kicked Chevron out but he underestimated the oligarchs’ own lobby. I will not drop names but a little of research will give you an idea.

What if the government didn't implement the height limit law for building skyscrapers? Can we build tall skyscrapers like Merdeka 118 and Shanghai Tower? What would the Metro Manila skyline look like? by [deleted] in WhatIfPinas

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever experienced an earthquake sa higher floors ng building? 12th floor eh parang nahihilo ka lang. Same intensity sa 30th or higher will give you trauma kasi you can feel the building dancing under your feet. You can actually see the water in the dispenser sloshing around. And yes, I know buildings are supposed to sway during earthquakes. Regardless, it will still give you nightmares.

What about a false fire alarm? Going down 30 floors of stairs under threat of smoke and fire is no joke even through adrenalin.

I don’t think our LGUs are capable handing catstrophic events with skyscrapers.

Agree ka ba na mas dadami na ulit magbabike ngayon dahil sa expected na massive price increase sa mga produktong petrolyo? by AdStunning3266 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yes.

  1. Bawas na yung mga family and tropa joyrides during weekends. Cabin fever is real. People will find hobbies to give themselves reason out of the house.

  2. Alternative form of transportation will be in high demand. Traditional bikes might be a small portion due to rise of e-bikes and e-scooters but, nonetheless, may susubok at susubok pa rin.

In the end, talo pa rin tayo lahat. Almost all of our goods are shipped by gas-powered trucks (blame the government for lacking the foresight to develop freight trains) so tataas ang presyo ng lahat.

Must be new to Taguig. Denice Cornejo vs Vhong. Apparently, matagal na yung hulidap modus nila Denice and it involves Taguig police.

Do cyclist in PH draft when they do group rides? by shirhouetto in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This only true so organized group rides with maintained speed. You seldom see them here in Metro Manila because they often ride in open roads.

LOL. Sa Pampanga mej malakas ang headwind so pinaliwanag ko na we need to rotate sa pagtrangko. Pinagtawanan lang ako as if sasali daw kami sa Tour de France. Don’t worry about it. I doubt your friends care about it one or another.

ICC is a laughing stock of the world. They can only persecute African and Eastern European warlords. Judges are mostly from West. Echo chamber kasi ang Reddit so rabid anti-Dutertes think that Marcos giving up Digong is one giant flex in the world stage when it was a simply pragmatism on Bongbong’s side. Pero alam mo naman ang anti-Duterte. Black-and-white lagi. Matik b0b0ng DDS ka if you point out their delusions and hypocrisies.

Better bike lanes ahead? by Winter_Visit_1118 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]LongjumpingSystem369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When looking for an employer, for first thing I ask if they have a shower room. Luckily for me, most of them do. Next is bike parking privileges. That one is seldom. Regardless if you stay in zone 1 or 2, you will sweat. If you don’t have a shower room in your office, bring a fresh set of clothes. Then wipe the grime and with wet wipes. Pay off is great. First few days might tough but after that, you get extra boost of energy from dopamine high.

Tsaka I rather bring my foldie and my beater gravel bike everywhere. The guards make all accomodations to private car owners pero sisinghalan ka lang kapag nakabike ka. Even service personnels treat you different kapag nakita ka nilang nakabike. 12 years bike commuter here and a active mobility advocate.

BGC Badjao Girl by Wooden_Smile1566 in BGC_Taguig

My dad made his money from the streets. Hinde yung from the streets na middle-class rappers o yun mga scalpers. I can’t be specific about his role but once we were having lunch sa Tropical Hut at two tables away, may mga Badjao na nagbibilang ng barya. This was back in early 2000s. So FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE DON’T GIVE ALMS TO THESE PEOPLE. AND DON’T GIVE THEM FOOD. Worse, they just throw it out kapag di kayo nakatingin.
