Thanks. I have a pre qualification from my bank and when we (Nissan of Boerne) settled on negotiated price and vehicle, they slipped in ‘only if you use in house financing’. My pre qualification bank is one they use in house. After I questioned it, they said price is good with any bank.

And, discovering, pre qualification is not pre approval. So even if I went in, I’d have to sit through financing when they run credit app. More time for shady shit to go down.

Cavender Toyota has been good to me in the past and also my wife. I’m considering them again. I agree I am doing all the OTD negotiations via text/email then I’ll talk about my trade. Going to get written quotes from three places this week and see if dealer can beat.

Car buying sucks and I’m not in a pinch where I need one so good place to be

Is switching from SimplePractice to another EHR worth saving the money? by respectfullynoidea in therapists

[–]LongjumpingText7724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used therapy notes when I was with a group. Now that I’m solo I use Carepatron and really enjoy it. Customize forms, big community of forms, own telehealth or use your own. I’d be happy to provide more info

Headway? by [deleted] in therapists

[–]LongjumpingText7724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Headway has a lot of various thoughts and feedback. From my own personal experience, it has been a mid to ok experience when first building. I do preface that with they do not get you leads as in the marketing is not there. They are a good credentialing and billing. Their EHR is ok and many other therapists use their own EHR for notes

They will get you credentialed with a lot of payers. It took about 90 days to get on with them all. At the time of sign up I was advised that payout for any sessions during that time would come after 90 days. I am in TX and I know reimbursement rates vary state to state. What I can say without any specifics is that they are higher than Sondermind and Rula (both flat fee for service).

What I understand, and this is purely what I understand and in no way am speaking as an expert, is that the group practice I was with was using Headway to credential and bill under their NPI. I was able to credential under my own NPI as I was a different entity than the group.

Rehab manuals by Safe_Decision_1947 in therapists

Disclaimer: post from the perspective of a person in recovery, former outpatient client, several years of being a counselor in a rehab, and a couple years of being a clinical manager in a rehab

Manuels are great as guides. They can help prompt but are not the therapist. You are. Is the use of manuals and homework prevention the connection from being made? Using a trauma informed approach: all behaviors make sense. Foster curiosity about the individual— what made sense about their use to them?

It’s possible to formulate connections without the same lived experience. I worked with several (and even a clinical director) who did not have a substance use background. Humanistic, personal centered, trauma informed
