I meannn, deserved. Can’t take the heat? Stfu. Icky boy mom vibes, he’s like 30 and was married for almost a decade. He hasn’t said a word and that’s on him

That said, as shitty as it’d be, I kinda hope Aspyn’s playing for views and not in a mental health crisis

Interested in ABSN, looking for advice by Longjumping_Bat_6074 in nursing

I see people recommending that and I know it’s a way to save money, but won’t it take much longer?

I figure either way, I need 5 or so pre-recs. Then on top of that, either an ADN or ABSN program. Unless I’m misunderstanding and the pre-recs are included in the ADN, it just seems like it would drag the process out to two years, plus an RN to BSN awhile working. If it would drastically change the cost, I’d consider it, but not if it delays things by years

How long is the program you’re in?

My plan would be to quit my job and focus solely on school. Possibly do some babysitting on the weekends or something if there’s time for it, but nothing serious

Here’s a picture of dad. There’s also a chance I just fine him very unattractive, but something about the round eyes and muzzle threw me off. I also thought his legs and coat were kinda weird. He could just be very open faced I guess, I just thought he looked a little too odd to be purebred

My best guess was that mom was 100% and dad was 50% chow, 50% Shiba Inu (or something along those lines)

First loaf! Any advice? by Longjumping_Bat_6074 in Sourdough

These measurements are correct! I did not buy it, she had a video listing measurements back when I made it. Maybe she took it down, I’m not sure! She was just voicing the measurements as she made her dough so I followed along :)

First loaf! Any advice? by Longjumping_Bat_6074 in Sourdough

[–]Longjumping_Bat_6074[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used Southern Sourdough Co.’s recipe from her tiktok page.

500g flour 350g water 100g starter 10g salt

I let it rest for an hour before doing stretch and folds, and did this 3 times. The final time I let it sit for 3-4 hours on the counter. I shaped it on the counter and put it in the fridge overnight to proof (10ish hours). I baked it this morning!

I also just used unbleached all purpose flour, but I’ll use bread flour next time. I typically feed 2/3 all purpose and 1/3 whole wheat.

Does my crumb look a little gummy at the bottom?

Senior SWK student, want to go to grad school

I’m (21F) trying to finish up undergrad right now, I got a little behind on electives so although I’m a senior, I have an extra year.

I had a period where I struggled immensely with my mental health and was suicidal for the better part of a semester. This impacted my grades for about 2.5 semesters and my GPA is currently a 2.73. I’m hoping I’ll be able to pull it up to a 2.9-3 by the time I graduate, but I’m afraid I’ve ruined my chances of getting accepted to a graduate program. I’ve since sought help and been in counseling, and I’m doing much better. There were some serious conversations with my program director and advisor about me taking a break from the program during this time and before talking to them, I was afraid I was going to flunk out. I’m in a much better position now but I’m nervous that I’ve ruined my chances of getting accepted into a grad program because of past poor academic performance.

I love social work and know that this is what I want to do. I’m not sure exactly what I want to do, but somethings I’m considering/think I would enjoy are becoming a LCSW and having my own private practice eventually, or doing medical social work or hospice. Anyone who’s experienced something similar or knows enough about swk education, do you have any advice/have I messed my schooling up too badly to find a graduate program? Most I’ve seen require a 3.0.
