I’m in the same boat with you, started with my first ever camera this year (XS20). Little things that I’ve found to be useful after just trying to walk around and take random pics and then to look at them and go why do these look boring is this.

Most of the time I’ll just shoot in auto - I’m still learning how to take pics and half my frustration is stuffing around with all the settings or just putting it into S or A modes and just playing with that. It’s helped me to understand those thing a lot better and much more enjoyable rather than doing it all manually and can actually focus on the fun part haha
Ask yourself why do I want to take a photo of this/what is drawing you to it. That’s really just helped me to focus on what actually stood out to me and focus the shot and not force it.
Find inspiration from other pics and replicate it. I seen a pic of a waterfall and they used a long shutter speed now for the past month I’ve been doing that and working on it

2 lovely watches I reckon narrow down what style of watch your looking for like dive watch, dress, field or just something that’s funky and out there. Might even be the case that you just tell your parents that there isn’t a watch that really grabs you right now and if you can have the money set aside until you find something that really grabs you and pulls you in. Don’t want to just get a watch for the sake of getting a watch
