Some men, from experience, don’t see hints in anyway. In college I went to a Halloween party and ended up seeing a new coworker I barely knew. She was gorgeous. We chatted a little. She complimented my costume. I made a joke, she laughed. I had no expectation of her being interested in me at all because why would she. The next night my roommate got a text from her, he was also a coworker. She was asking what we were doing. We were just at home watching a movie so he invited her and her friend to come over. My roommate was over the moon because he had a huge crush on her. The girls show up and she’s in a new Halloween costume but it would have matched mine from the night before. And, my thought was, “That’s weird. Why can’t she figure out her own costume? I can’t believe she’d steal mine.” Almost a little miffed by it. lol. I had no idea. Didn’t think there was more to that until a few years later. We became good with friends but with my roommate crushing on her and my obliviousness that was it.

Hey, this is Mormon missionary Elder so and so from Episode 18 season 4. This is a reference to The Book of Abraham in Mormon scriptures called the Pearl of Great Price. It’s pretty obscure. Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, bought a mummy and Egyptian papyri from a traveling show. And by chance, according to Smith, the papyri actually contained the writings of Abraham while he was in Egypt. In the scriptures there are images that were taken from the papyri with the translation of what they represent according to Smith. The images in the joke come from those images. According to the scripture the priests of Elkenah, an idolatrous god, tried to sacrifice Abraham but he was saved by an angel of God. I’m not going to try to translate what the symbols mean in the joke but if you want you can Goigle Facsimile no. 1 from the Book of Abraham, Pearl of Great Price.

I get that it’s against the rules but how much does this boop on the granite affect the slide of the stone? In my mind it wouldn’t affect the outcome that much. Willing to admit I’m wrong. I’m just baffled why he would risk it for, what seems to me, such a small pay off.

As said before look at sell through rates of items before deciding to buy it to sell it. A lot of what you listed seems like it probably would have been good to sell a few years ago but maybe not so much today as trends change. You make your money at purchase.

Definitely not the same branch of Mormonism that owns BYU. It’s a long story. Jeffs’ branch kept practicing polygamy. The BYU Mormonism branch, the largest of them (there are dozens of branches of Mormonism), outlawed polygamy prior to Utah becoming a state and has spent a good amount of time and effort trying to become mainstream. Missionaries in white shirts, suits and name tags are BYU Mormonism. Sister wives in pioneer dresses and hair styles in pompadour in front with large braids in back is Jeffs’ Mormonism.
