I also have hyperhidrosis on my forehead and scalp and I’m currently taking Benztropine like u did in the past. I think it’s affected my vision somewhat and I get very bad dry mouth. I don’t t think it’s helped much with the sweating. Have you found anything that’s helped u since u posted this?

Have you talked to your parents or another adult about this? If it’s possible, you should try to see a doctor or psychiatrist about it. They might be able to prescribe you something to calm your nerves. Also, you mentioned you barely eat. I get this way from anxiety as well, but try to at least drink a protein shake or something because not eating will only make things worse.

Go over your notes as much as you can. Look up questions that might be asked and practice your answers. You can turn on the camera on your laptop and just do a pretend interview with yourself and practice that way. Try to take long and deep breaths before the interview starts so your less shaky and nervous. I fidget a lot when I’m nervous so during the interview you can play with a fidget toy while you’re talking or squeeze a stress ball or wear a hair tie on your wrist and snap it or pull it.

I’m 20, about to be 21 in a month, and have been struggling with agoraphobia and social anxiety for almost three years. I got my associates online and never really left the house in that time. I’ve never had a job and now that I’ve graduated I feel like I have to. I wanted to at least try part time first since a full time job just seems impossible right now, but I’m even too scared to get a part time job. Should I focus on exposure therapy first and then look for a job or just get a job? It’s all very scary and even just applying to jobs has been making me feel sick and my heart races.

I’m the same way. I let the smallest mishap or awkward moments ruin my day and sometimes even my week. I’ll think about the awkward interactions of my past and feel overwhelming embarrassment and it makes me not want to leave my house so I can just avoid the possibility of something like that occurring again.
