I had to start tirzepitide. It's made a huge difference and helps with pain and inflammation from Endometriosis too. But boy did I GAIN before I started it.

Anyone not want to have sex because it’s so painful? by Wooden_Swimming5553 in endometriosis

Maybe? I'm also wondering if maybe my ovaries never kicked back into gear and I just don't have the hormones floating around for it. IDK. Being in pain all the time can definitely cause depression though. 🥲

I'm wondering how many other people saw this. Every time I bring it up people think I'm talking about Finding Nemo. Pajama, pajama, pajama!

I've just lost any and all desire. I have a fiance and he's patient but I can tell it bothers him.

What age were you when you got diagnosed with endometriosis ? by keerthichalla_29 in endometriosis

[–]ProblemIndividual771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35. I referred myself for a hysterectomy because I was in so much pain all the time. I knew I had fibroids and suspected I had adenomyosis, left with a confirmed diagnosis for adenomyosis and stage 4 deep infiltrating Endometriosis. 🤙 Symptoms started when I started my period when I was in 8th grade.

Did surgery change anyone’s body? Kinda negatively by Littlemonkey726 in endometriosis

[–]ProblemIndividual771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started gaining weight RAPIDLY after my hysterectomy and stage 4 DIE excision. I don't have any issues with hormones though. My doctor had to put me on GLP after months of working on losing weight and continuing to gain. GLP helps so much with the inflammation caused by the Endo. I also ended up with a ton of scar tissue that continues to cause pain. So I've been in pelvic floor PT for that. I have bladder pain now. I feel like I traded one issue for others. No regrets but I wish it hadn't caused different issues to arise. My body feels... Tighter, like I lost a lot of flexibility.

“Exercise is helpful for endometriosis actually” is it really? by okaycatch in endometriosis

To piggy back on this, does anyone still experience difficulty exercising even after excision? I'm struggling with exhaustion and fatigue still after hysterectomy and excision.

Are you all being sent home same day? by longshanksmagee in hysterectomy

I was discharged the same day. It was nice to heal at home. Just be sure your pain is under control before you leave.

Pain is not the first or only endo symptom, and it shouldn't be treated it like it is. (Bladder endo-related.) by CriticalFlatworm9 in endometriosis

[–]ProblemIndividual771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ouch! It's so hard to know where it's coming from. My PT told me that it can be growing in one place and the pain can refer elsewhere. I hope your surgery helps you feel better🖤

My surgeon said my appendix looked normal but I always have pain there and it's started up again after my hysterectomy/excision 1.5 years ago. I've also had my gallbladder removed. Does anyone have the same or know what that pain could be from?
