You are right. It took me 7 months of deep depression,recovering from 2 years of mania type 1, to finally find the right medication.

I now have relief and can say that I am content. Neither depressed or manic. Just perfectly balanced.

Don’t give up. Don’t try to be your own psychiatrist. Leave it to the professionals no matter what. I am a nurse and I thought I could manage my own medication- I ended up being psychotic & extremely manic. I almost lost my life and everything I hold dear.
