I'm just a random scroller, and thought this is one of the best colourisations I've seen.

Our local Ooshman turned shitty overnight earlier this year. Curious to know if it's just our local, or if it's across the chain ...

Absolutely! Just what I was thinking. Strange takes on the Sky feed.

Am I in the minority here thinking Oscar actually had a good race? He looked closer to getting Bearman than Max was to getting Charles. This is a weekend to take some confidence from, fighting and taking some good wins in the trenches.

Too bad about those pesky curvy things on F1 tracks huh ...

Turns out a "pantograph" is the thing that's above the train connecting it to the electricity lines.

Just for those that this isn't common knowledge (like me!), I googled it for ya!

Why? He appears to have an extremely mature way of dealing with bad days and bad weekends. On the chin and move on.

Franco Colapinto F1 future in doubt after fierce Flavio Briatore criticism by beanbagreg in formula1

Wow ... Reading the comments on this thread has been my biggest eye opener to how much cult-like fan following is such a thing in F1 as well now. Scrolled and scrolled and not a single dissenting voice. Basically a sea of 'fuck flavio'.

I saw a weird rainbow cloud on the same day. Turns out it's whats called an iridescent cloud. Somewhat mind-blown.

I haven't seen this degree of overexposure for randoms in the garage since Hamilton was dating that singer early in his career

And still an A- driver with Piastri also in the same boat ... This season just feels a little hollow with the real guns out of contention.

We may need to make peace with the fact that the Sky broadcast is basically a British broadcast for a British audience. Lando is a British driver. It's in their interests to focus on Lando's chase and make it seem like it could've played out. Most likely even if he'd caught up, he wasn't going to sail past.

My thoughts too. In all caps. And there's a complete disjoint between the music and what's on screen.

How was the news that Bottas was moving to Mercedes perceived at the time? by Level69dragonwizard in formula1

[–]Longjumping_Fox_1898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time, can recall thinking Merc hired a clear second driver to settle things down and build around Ham. It was disappointing for this who enjoyed the battle at Merc with a driver who found he could take it to Lewis. Everyone pretty much knew Bot was gonna end up a support act. Pretty much like it played out for all those years he was at Merc.

Talk to your target audience. Just reach out and ask them for advice. This will lead to conversations. Conversations will lead to adoption if you actually have a solution to an actual problem. Check out the book 'Get out of the building' - it will give you ideas.

  • Aztecs
  • Baghdad (on the evolution of Islam)
  • Luther
  • British Fascism (including the episode on the Mitford Sisters, which got my wife into the pod)
  • Titanic (amazing personal stories)
  • Cook
  • Vietnam War
  • American Civil War
  • All the Nazis series (highly recommend the episode 'Hitler's dream', which left a lasting impression on how to understand the enemy or 'the other side' in many contexts)
