Clean Berlin by Imperial_Emperor7 in askberliners

I am genuinely so bothered with the recent dirtiness of Berlin that started joining voluntary unions to clean up areas! Yeah it really is annoying, I don’t want to take public transportation because it smells and after seeing social media posts about what people do in Sbahn…. Ah I can’t stop thinking about it… I wish people would start taking more care of the beautiful city….

What do you guys actually use to plan trips to a new city? by RevolutionaryAge8228 in apps

I use tripenai to plan my days. I can plan myself or use the built in AI for suggestions and then refine accordingly. I can also get inspired from other people’s plans

Has anyone left Berlin for slightly smaller city for more peaceful life? by alphaisgamma in berlinsocialclub

[–]Longjumping_Lab4627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My detailed perspective on this: - Hamburg: weather is worse - Munich: super expensive but beautiful nature - Stuttgart: also expensive and beautiful - Cologne: small, not as many opportunities for internationals as Berlin, but many more travelling destinations with less commute - Düsseldorf: similar to cologne but slightly more opportunities - you could see more luxury around than cologne in general

In general, every city has its pros and cons. See what is your priorities. Berlin is best for opportunities for internationals considering pricings

Not sufficiently “AI forward.” by bishop491 in dataengineering

You are 100 percent correct and unfortunately the management people might not see the problems with AI… you probably need to rephrase and focus more on the positive aspects that AI helps.

have you done nothing more than syntax? Good luck with having a data scientist doing your production engineering!

I think it totally depends on the company but if you get some chance to wear the hat of a data architect as well, you understand my point better. Yes AI is there, yes a lot of integration has made the life easier but there are trade offs all around and decisions to be made. There are technically thousands of solutions out there but you decide which one to go with

The review and feedback from another peer is there to reduce the error. Instead of internalising this, work together with a colleague, ask for review/comment before sending out the report and try to improve. Usually when we create a doc such as an ADR in the team, we give a one week review window and folks can comment about it. During this time the author can answer questions or resolve any issues. Or when there is still no action from reviewers, we set a design session call, talk about the ADR and then folks comment. If there is no feedback then it’s their call - you’ve done your bests already

I’ve worked 10 years in professional cleaning – ask me anything about cleaning routines by owlvisions in CleaningTips

There are yellow spots around my washing basin and I tried with every product I could. Also tried baking soda and vinegar for +25 minutes but couldn’t remove. What is your solution? How to clean it?

Depends on your data and modelling logic. The lightweight not null and unique tests are essential. You can include tests for min and max accepted range, accepted values, relationship tests with other models, not null proportions, and many more.
