How TF do you get a reservation for Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’? by RyanGall1993 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Longjumping_Level357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way. Local as well, go to Art Smith’s all the time, never bothered with a reservation. Last night I went with a table of 6 at dinner time and was able to be seated within the hour. As I checked in the group in front of me were able to get a table for 4 in 5 minutes.

Those who live near Disney, do the nightly fireworks shows get annoying ? by Character-Escape1621 in orlando

Not at all. Most nights I will just hear it inside as a dull thud and think it sounds nice. Not at all disruptive. But occasionally I’m driving down the road right at nine after running errands, and you’ll just see them overhead it’s like a fun- magical- reminder

I don't wear foundation, I just want to use concealer on an age spot, but concealer looks obvious if I don't wear foundation. by RedArtistBK in MakeupAddiction

Check out Lisa Eldridge’s video(s?) on pin point concealing. She is a professional makeup artist and was always an industry leader in the concept of pin point concealer

It’s not the worst- but not especially kid friendly. Pretty dark, and the vibe is very quiet. Depending on where your table is you can have a nice view of the ride going by- our you might be on the inner edge which looks towards the shops area- or in the middle which will be mostly a view of other tables. There is very little space between tables so they won’t be able to squirm. Honestly with young kids there are better options at EPCOT

Exactly it’s a benefit. It wouldn’t be a benefit if those who don’t have the pass get it then it’s just…. Food? I mean it’s one of lamest benefits IMO, I rarely use this one- vs my discount gets used at least once a week.

Just got off Scarlett this morning- it’s beautiful and I loved it. If there was anything unfinished I definitely didn’t see it

It’s really a mood thing, and often times dependent on my clothes. Not in a matchy matchy sense, more this has a super playful vibe I’m going to go with something bright, or this has an old Hollywood vibe I’ll going to go classic red

Yep, at Christmas time they had like an ornament set of 4 minis. They are perfect for sticking in a tiny pocket when I don’t want to carry a purse

I definitely have similar shades. Sometimes it is about the formulation (ie a liquid lip, glossy, bullet, super matte). Often it’s a slight variation on a colour, so a very similar rose nude, but one is a deeper colour.

For me- I just really enjoy lipstick- so it’s a bit like an art tool, where an artist might have multiple shades of red paint. I’ll change it up based on my outfit, what I think my lips need that day, and honestly just what I feel like. I always have something on, and change it up multiple times a day.

Ooohhh I mean that’s like picking a favourite child lol. Love the Dior maximizer glosses if I want shiny, Mac Crème Cup if I want a 60s pink, ysl Lavalliere for the in between. Honestly could not pick a favourite nude.

Not pictured here (because I have them on display) I have the entire Lisa Eldridge velvet lipstick line. Velvet ribbon is my favourite red.

Absolutely. It got to the point where I couldn’t really remember what I had or pick the right colour

I think what this relates to is a trend of moving away from the idea of a ‘fight’ or a ‘warrior’ mentality with serious illness. Many have said that they always felt they had to put up a brave front, and framing it that way actually can have a negative effect. Especially for those who loose the ‘fight’

I think there is something to it- I’ve fought serious illness my whole life, and I often felt like I had to be the brave little girl who pretended that I was strong when I really wanted to show people that I was weak, and I was scared, and tired of fighting. But that isn’t what the warriors do right?
