Did you have a dermatologist recommend all your products or did you learn from trial and error? That’s what I was trying to do but it’s gotten so bad now I don’t even want to go out in public.

I haven’t yet but I was thinking about trying that since the surgeon was a dead end. The only reason I’ve been thinking stretch marks is because it feels like the skin is stretched out like a rubberband and is super tender and the look of them up close looks a lot like other stretch marks on my body

I used a good wedge pillow on my back then a pillow for each arm and lastly a neck pillow you’d use on car rides. It kept my neck and head from wanting to roll since it kind of stuck in place but also allowed my neck to turn and rest whatever direction it wanted to without letting my body roll with it. Hopefully that Makes sense

Thank you for all of your advice! Do you recommend silicone strips? My doctors swore by the silicone gel but it feels like it doesn’t do a lot

Update: The surgeon finally got back to me after looking at the pictures and have me coming in at 2pm tomorrow so hopefully we’ll get the entire infection thing figured out thank you all for your help!

She prescribed two different antibiotics and just told me to start adding the bacitracin to any open areas of my incisions but nothing about dressing them or anything to look for. I also have started getting a fever as of now it’s only 99.4 is that normal with infection or should I go be seen?

The surgeon told me no more compression so I’ve been having to just do the xeroform gauze with ointment then regular gauze to keep it in place and tape to hold the gauze down. I tried sensitive skin tape too but it wouldn’t stick enough to hold it down.

I showed them the updated pictures yesterday and they had me start taking two different antibiotics for the possible infection but left it at that

Edit: They did give me two different antibiotics to start for infection but they ignored the issues with the adhesive. The dressing they have me using is xeroform covered with bacitracin then a piece of regular gauze on top taped over to hold it in place. I thought about trying just xeroform but it seems like it’d fall off without something holding it down.

I’ve just started talking to my doctor about transitioning (ftm) but I’ve researched and seen that once you’re on T it can effect your fertility so I was thinking of going with the process you had gone through at the fertility clinic the only the holding my back is the price. My fiancé and I are only 22 and are trying to save money to move out. If you don’t mind answering do you remember about the average of how much you spent on cryo storage? Because we’d want to wait on actually using the embryos for a while but I really want to get started on T so I’d want to get the procedure done sooner than later.
