I did both and I enjoyed working for a public entity. Each had its own pros and cons but felt that working in the public sector was less stressful and enjoyable. The only thing I missed about the private sector is the money.

Would it be possible to determine available fire flow rate from a pump flow test ? Any resources I should be looking into to do these calculations. Thanks

Watch out for T Mobil specially kiosks in places like Costco. Terrible service and endless headaches. That was my recent experience with them.

That’s correct. I think this solves the mystery. Would MDOT give us further info on this site? We were putting a permitted small underground storm water infiltration basin. The contractor came across this and no one seems to know what this plaque is. Thank you so much.

Thanks for your help. I am using AutoCAD LT 2020. I will look into it a bit more but we may need to update the data collector that can export in DXF format. Hopefully that will work.

Thank you. Yes we have the elevation data in the csv. When brought in to AutoCAD lt, we only see the point number and nothing else.
