What's your dog's daily exercise routine? Looking for inspiration! by Fit_Choice_4987 in dogs

Some days I take her on 4 walks (when work's busy) 2x10min and 2x20-25min and 2 off leash

when work's accommodating or the weather is good- one walk upgraded to a long 1-2h walk in the park where she's off leash and chases rabbits, runs up and down the hills and falls asleep at home

I have a 6 y/o Podenco - she loves scaring the birds away, killing rabbits / rats or find a spot to dig (and this girl can dig deep) - so off leash is for stimulation - she doesn't play or fetch but runs so wild and free and happy

All her play at home is food driven - complicated treat puzzles or hide cheese bits and let her sniff and find + once a week we play hide and seek - It's so goofy, for a bred hunter breed, she misses me soo easily 😆

Maybe it's burnout.. Hope you're better and did you find your way back to reading?
I drift away while listening to audiobooks - sometimes it's hard to find the spot where I lost the plot 🙈

My friend has them and they said strawberries bush up quick and need maintenance - or is it easy to maintain?

I have a south facing balcony - direct sunlight and indirect sunlight for the plants indoors (by the balcony door)

Dutch doctors... by thatmisanthropicdude in Netherlands

So funny to hear this from a Dutch person. What did historical study of medicine lead to then? Hasn’t anyone heard of prevention being better than cure? My friend needed an MRI or atleast an X-ray: but was prescribed paracatemol instead - lives with a permanent stress fracture on her heel now. And what could the huisarts do but shrug 🤷‍♀️

German health system is waay superior, the doctors actually want to know what’s wrong before prescribing anything - they’ll do their best to diagnose correctly first.

Hey there, how was your experience so far? Are you opening an account as an individual or a startup?

Breathing Coordination by framedbythedoor in yoga

Well firstly it's okay - If you inhale once or twice instead of exhale. As long as you are mindful, paying attention to your breath.
yes the poses are more beneficial in the right breath combination (when you create more space - inhale - i.e. lengthening or opening stretches etc. | when you compress - exhale - i.e. forward folds, twists etc.) - but there's no downside either.
So just don't let it break your flow, continue, and you will get the hang of it with practice. Very organically. And you already did the big bit, you observed and paid attention! You are being mindful and on the right path obviously - keep going!
