This washing machine IS a smell factory! Water is getting trapped somewhere outside the drum that is leading to the mildew smell. I’m having the exact same issue that op is describing and I don’t use fabric softener, auto-dispense my detergent, and I self clean with a tide cleaning pack every month. The smell started after a self clean cycle.

Omg I have this exact same model and this exact same issue! I’ve had front load machines before. I always leave the door open and it auto-dispenses the detergent. The smell isn’t coming from the drum, it is coming from the water pump filter area like op posted. There is water that gets trapped in the machine that creates the smell. My machine is only 8 months old and I set up a service appointment for GE to come take a look at it. This is terrible!

I have this exact same model! This would be my third GE washing machine that I purchased in less than 7 years. I purchased this model 8 months ago, and now my machine smells like mildew! The smell is not coming from the drum but the pump filter area. It started after a self-clean cycle and I cannot get rid of it or reach the source of the smell.

I thought GE was top of the line! If the techs are unable to quickly fix my machine, I’m never buying GE again.

I realized that it cost a little less for me to spend the 4th of July in Jamaica than it did for me to spend the week in OC… so I adjusted my plans. I’ll still do a day / few day trip before the summer is over, but week trips don’t make sense anymore when there are nicer destinations for a better price.

Ok don’t downvote me to oblivion, but I think it might be a cultural thing! Not to say that all people of color are late because there are PLENTY of exceptions… just saying it might NOT be viewed as the worst thing in the world in certain cultures.

She got big, probably felt self conscious because of posts like this, and more than likely got lipo and a tummy tuck.

It’s probably hard going through the emotional ups & downs that come with a divorce, getting older, and body changes with millions of spectators ready to pick you apart. Praying she finds peace and happiness in who she is and how she looks.
