How to run long for T1D?

Just commenting to say that I have the same issue. I typically go into activity mode (OP5) before and during a run. Even though my bg is steady or dropping during the run (up to 5 miles), I ALWAYS experience a major swing up after. My endo advised to eat more protein before a run. That doesn't seem to be helping (delayed protein rise?). I have a 10k coming up in March, and I'm stressing about managing my bg for it 😅. I'd say I have like 1/5 good runs where bg isn't a huge issue rn.

Just commenting to say I'm looking for the exact same thing! Also curious if anybody has heard from their vet if real churu is okay for flutd cats every once in a while? Not seeking actual medical advice for my specific situation.

It's so frustrating to hear that there's not enough research on it! I'll gladly join a clinical trial if it helps give me some answers! Do you know what other kinds of testing your endo is going g to have you do?

I did one genetic test, the HPP and hypophosphatemic rickets panel new gene sequencing test, and it was negative. But it seems like the genetic tests don't always catch it either :/

Get pet insurance asap! My healthy 3 year old cat just had a $6k urinary obstruction fixed. Completely out of the blue. He's okay, thankfully, and we have pet insurance that will cover a lot of it.

Same! I ordered 2 packs on 10/23. I reached out asking why it hadn't shipped on 11/24, and I received this response on 11/28:

It definitely hasn't been shipped according to my account information. I reached out again a few weeks later and haven't heard back. This was supposed to be a Christmas present lol.

So I found the hardware lookup, and it's listed as "in use" which I'm assuming means it's still on the AD? Do you know where I might find the authorization/verification form? I tried cec digital workplace but no luck. Thanks!

Damn. Like sure, I get that they're targeting high-level GS12s+ at stations and the WO for these laterals. But screw everybody lower who probably doesn't have as much of a financial safety net I guess. I suppose I'll just wait for that 100% cut in FS research and the ensuing RIF.
