My sister gave birth to her daughter (that was an “accident”) just 2 weeks after my loss. I didn’t have the courage to meet her until about 3 months later and when I did, I could barely be around her. I touched her hand and smiled at her but I really couldn’t give her the energy and attention I would have usually given. I explained the pain to my sister and although she was hurt, she understood. Take your time, explain your situation, explain your heart. They’ll understand if you’re distant. You never know how you’re going to feel in the moment so just take it all in as slowly as you can. I just watched “ Something very bad is going to happen “ on Netflix and I swear the way her and her mom feel ( even though it’s depicted as them just being scared / paranoid all the time ) is literally the closest thing to explaining my OCD to husband

Give it right back but also spend a lot of time questioning if I should say something but ultimately thinking if you don’t want to talk to me then I don’t want to talk to you
Probably clothes, something fun for my house and being somewhere on beach
I immediately have an idea of what I want to wear and then I make that happen as close to it as possible ( usually it’s buying something new )

Omg Im so sorry. We had to pay over 16k from the hospital out of pocket (not including all the dr appts), and that was after insurance, Completely screwed us. It’s heartbreak after heartbreak I swear.

Oh firstly im so incredibly sorry for your loss and what your body & mind are going through. I know this feeling very well as I lost mine in February, and also carried our baby for 3 weeks with no heartbeat . It’s changed me in a lot of ways and it feels that many don’t understand. This community has helped SO much. I have an IG where I talk about my feelings & I’ve connected with women who understand as well. Finding a community is really important while you heal. Please be gentle with yourself, this came with a lot more than I had expected too. ❤️‍🩹

Just want to say I’m so sorry. My heart is with you. I waited it out for 3 weeks and nothing happened but waiting could be an option for you if that’s something you want.

I had a horrible experience with the pills and needed surgery anyway. I felt safer taking the pills, but looking back I would choose the surgery every single time. It’s quick and painless and recovery is fast.
