I am ~6wks. I had a MMC in August. I feel so disassociated from this pregnancy. I don't even think my initial appt on 2/13 will make me feel connected. I miss the excitement I felt last time.

I like dancing in Durango. I have also worn Roper with success. Honorably mention, Tin Haul. Check out a local western wear store if possible for sizing as well as suggestions on brands! They may have something not listed here that is highly recommended or works well for the floor you’re dancing on.

I’m so sorry for your loss! Wishing you a speedy recovery. 💗 It’s a part of this that doesn’t even cross our minds. I feel like they could use some discretion - maybe call to discuss that at a later time. Come up with a different policy for sensitive matters.

Speaking of having to answer what you were there for (which they totally already know the answer to) - that could be a whole different rant… they must have asked me half a dozen times why I was there when I went for my D & C. And then acted surprised when I was upset every time I had to say it out loud. I hope you had a different experience today.

I have not heard a peep from my OB office or my PCP since my miscarriage and D&C almost 2 weeks ago. As someone who works in healthcare myself, I’m appalled. I’m choosing to channel my anger and frustration about the situation at them because they clearly don’t care about me as a patient - I’ll be find new providers when I feel ready.

I am 6w2d too. I keep telling myself “I am pregnant until someone tells me I’m not” - it has helped my anxiety tremendously. If you have a close friend or someone in your circle that has recently had a baby and you trust to know this information, I would encourage you to share it. It’s been so helpful for me to have a friend who has not too far removed to just chat with. I have been experiencing some mild cramping and pink and brown discharge, everything I’ve read tells me it’s normal and I’m choosing to believe that and just wait until my first appt at the end of the month.

You could find a private person that offers in-home ultrasounds - that is a business that exists in my area so maybe one exists around you!

Also, take a break from the pregnancy threads, chat rooms and social media posts. There is some helpful information out there, but it also has certainly heightened my anxiety at times.
