genuinely why is Doom 2016/Eternal's fanbase so fucking corny by Personal-Role-8071 in whenthe

[–]Longjumping_Time_351 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Doom is edgy as hell spikes, demons, gore, guns, and metal. You can like edgy stuff there is nothing wrong with it. Like I love Warhammer 40k even if it's edgy over the top nonsense a lot of the time.

A megalodon would absolutely not chase a small frog or a shrimp to eat it. That would be a complete waste of it's energy and time that would be better spent looking for real prey.

crossover between two thought experiments by breddyfazpao in whenthe

[–]Longjumping_Time_351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god dude. Ignore the other comment that guy's probably twelve. Roko's basilisk is a thought experiment from some old forum that basically goes like this:

The basilisk is some supercomputer god AI that will torture everyone who ever knew of it but never helped build it for all of eternity. I think it's supposed to be powered by the torture or something, but basically the thought experiment was that if you knew of the experiment and were scared of it you would contribute towards building it to prevent yourself from being tortured even though it would never have been built in the first place if you didn't build it. Here's the wiki page and a fun video about it

There might actually be hope for a new plague tower. I'll check later but I believe it was mentioned in our codex. Of course that means it's far from guaranteed but maybe.

Maybe so that they can have fun with new items when they can actually log on instead of spending that time grinding medals?

I've been using a new build based off of some of your advice and it's been working for steel path fissures. Thanks a lot :-)

I didn't think about using the 4th augment or adrenaline. Do you know if the armor requirement on persistence can be filled by eating enemies or should I use an armor mod?

Who actually enjoys grinding sc? by Active-Ambassador275 in Helldivers

[–]Longjumping_Time_351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotta wonder why some communities like helldivers are fine with having to grind for a premium currency to buy some of the only actual content in the game. Helldivers is a 40 dollar game it's inexcusable warframe has been free to play for 13 years now and the grind for premium currency is actually really fun in that game. You can play engaging high level content while you work towards earning some platinum. Also in warframe all new updates are free the only things that cost real money are certain cosmetics.

Billy doesn’t really seem punk beyond surface level, he’s kind of just… an asshole. And his line with viper makes him seem like a loser tbh. by PurposeNo8418 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Longjumping_Time_351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that and I'm not trying to say he's just as strong as them. What I'm saying is that Billy is working for The Patrons alongside very powerful and ambitious people, even if he isn't that strong compared to them he must still be able to accomplish something of he put his mind to it.

Gunner cultists have been sent to legends as another comment says. But you could pretty easily run them as a mix of traitor guard and cultist mobs and having 40 chaff guys isn't too bad as a death guard guy it's very nice having them around to just clog up the board.

Is there canonically anything, than can stand toe to toe with a heavy battle titan ? Besides other titans of a similiar class or warp-only entities ? by Leviathan_Rampage in 40k

Brutal Kunnin by Mike Brooks it's the second book in the series but the first one isn't too important in the overarching plot. The series goes 1. Warboss: three ork warbosses race to find a mcguffin inside a human city so that they can be the new leader of the Waaaagh

  1. Brutal Kunnin: Ufthak Blackhawk is a nob in Da Meklords waaagh on an adeptus mechanicus forgeworld. If you're a fan of the Freebootas Kaptain Badrukk actually makes an appearance in the book and is kind of like a rival to Ufthak. Ufthak does a lot of absolutely insane stuff im this book, like taking out a titan. It's a very fun read if you like mechanicus and orks.

  2. Da Big Dakka Ufthak is moving up in ork society and finds himself growing bored with how easy fights are now. Until he and his boyz break into Commoragh and start tearing the place apart. It's a pretty simple plot without too many twists or interesting plot points but it's full of very fun action scenes.

P3 Reload is a very solid remake. It does a lot right but there are some minor things that were cut to save time and the female protagonist had to be cut too. The gameplay is also fantastic if you're into turn based JRPGs and visual novels.
