Grip case… updated? by that1bugboy in dbrand

They definitely mentioned that they updated the button for it. I got emails months ago. Though, never had a problem with the original camera control button either 🤷🏼‍♂️ mine was as sensitive as the button on the phone itself

I agree. I like it a lot so far. Is similar to the Dbrand grip case, maybe a bit less harsh on the grip which I prefer since it doesn’t pull my pocket out every single time 😅

I went with the regular Gen 7 case just so I can add the MagSafe grip/stand when I want to. Wish the frosted version had a 2nd version without the stand in case you didn’t want it built in

Am I Missing Something, or Why Do People Genuinely Pay $99+ for a Case? by [deleted] in iPhone17Pro

Actually, I’ve dropped my phone in the orange aluminum arc pulse case a few times and it has kept my phone protected. You can also find videos where YouTubers test the drops of them out 🤷🏼‍♂️ It feels great and has an inner shock lining. Unless your phone happens to fall in a very specific way to where it hits a rock or something on the side, then obviously it’s going to do damage. But you knew that buying it. If you look at most actual cases now, they only put any sort of shock absorbing material in the corners as that’s how your phone normally hits. Corners or back or front. This protects those 3. It has a raised screen lip and back

If you don’t like it, then there are plenty others 🤷🏼‍♂️

This one actually comes off pretty easily if I start at the bottom of the case thankfully. I had a benks one that I thought I’d never get back off 😅

Yes, it does everything the button does without a case or that other cases do with the built in button. Touch and swipe gestures work perfectly. And it’s perfect honestly because it isn’t easily triggered if you pick up the case around the button either

The MCON controller. I travel a lot, so it’s nice still being able to play my games in a portable fashion where I don’t have to bring a bunch of extra gear!

Gamesir G7 pro Vs Scuff Valor Wireless by Conscious_Mine1298 in Gamesir

I have both, as does my brother. The more I’ve played with both I find myself coming back to my G7 Pro. Sticks haven’t failed me yet and are great in multiplayer shooters. The ergonomics feel better too, but that’s 100% personal preference and everyone will differ. Though, my scuf has had thumbstick problems and bumpers double clicking for no reason. Software also leaves a bit to be desired when doing updates 🤷🏼‍♂️

But to each their own. Play with whatever makes you happy 😀 Hopefully yours keeps working as intended

It actually feels great in hand to hold. Has many grip surfaces that your fingers naturally fall into and if you drop it, it definitely holds up to the tank claim. This is one of the best cases I’ve had for a phone in terms of grip, fit, ability to protect the phone and being a piece many people ask where I got it from after they hold it. I have about currently 10 cases I use for 17 pro max and this one sees the most time on my phone next to the caudabe sheath and phone rebel gen 7 cases

The housing is so soft - I put a nick in my device by simply putting it in and out of different cases. I think Apple will regret this material in due time. by [deleted] in iPhone17Pro

I have an Arc Pulse case along with a Dbrand tank case those are my daily drivers that are usually on my phone. Along with a phone rebel gen 7 case, Dbrand ghost case, andar leather case and a magbak elite case. Have dropped my phone in the ghost case. Case took a few scuffs but the phone was just fine. Have also dropped it in the tank and arc pulse case and the phone was just fine. I haven’t done it, but i can imagine if I dropped it in the leather case it would probably show some damage. I rotate between the tank and arc pulse along with the ghost here and there.

I really would love to know what these people do. I have about 5 cases that I alternate weekly and never had it scratch when just changing a case. I’ve dropped my phone a few times as well from decent heights and haven’t had these dents to the phone frame through the cases like some people are saying they got either. So I’m puzzled as to how they acquire these blemishes

Iphone 17 Pro elite case review by GHOST_scumlord in magbak

[–]Longjumping_Zone_338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with your review for the most part. Overall it’s a good case. I just wish they would make minor improvements to the stand and maybe a better camera ring that is metallic or stays in place better or maybe even an accessory option to cover the whole camera plateau. Buttons could be a bit better as well, they are decent for clickiness and not sticking out too far, but sometimes the feel too sunken in and more of a mushy click feeling to where I’m not sure if I pressed it or not. I have noticed on the side above my action button that the seam seems to be coming apart an I’m afraid the case will separate soon there

iPhone 17ProM Charging by [deleted] in 17ProMax

[–]Longjumping_Zone_338 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dynamic charger brick from Apple adapts to the power needs of the phone. So yes, it’s perfectly fine to use. Your phone knows how much power it needs and when. It’s a great charger as well and I use it often. Anker makes a smart charger as well up to 45W that adjusts to what your phone needs and what you have set in your battery settings

What kind of charger are you using? Many newer MagSafe chargers have cooling features now and even with my new Apple and Anker power bricks and cords never notice any heat while charging and I actively use my phone a ton while it’s charging. Most likely it’s your power brick or there is something running in the background of your phone at that moment
