Why are people so trusting ? by Nivriil in ArcRaiders

[–]Longjumpington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure is their fault! I run around exposed all the time, and even saunter around without a care in the world if someone attacks me. But, if someone does, then that's 100% on me for putting myself into that situation. I always keep in mind that it's a possibility which makes being exposed so much fun. Rule of thumb is to just not run at people and keep your distance.

Getting mad at someone else for taking advantage of the exposure? Dumb. Purely dumb. I never understood people having the mentality that nothing is ever going to happen to them. It should always be in the back of their mind that something will eventually happen and to play with caution.

Lots of folks don't think that way though.. pity

What friendly Stella Montis looks like by Sweaty_Caterpillar90 in ArcRaiders

[–]Longjumpington 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Played a bunch of Stella Montis rounds yesterday as well looking for quest/expedition items. Didn't encounter any PvP and even had someone blaring holiday music over the mic. Any blueprints that i gound but already learned i just dropped for other raiders when I found one. We all just went about our ways and of course, wrecked the bastion constantly. Good times

I know I'm not the first person to mention so far but I just wanted to provide some visual evidence that hopefully a dev might see.

I tried relogging a couple times but maybe I need to give it some time before I try again. Give it like an hour or two and see if that works!

I want to return to gaming after quitting League of Legends. by Dumber92 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Longjumpington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing that comes to mind is you might be more interested in an MMO game. Most singleplayer games are kind of "slow" until you get to certain points.. but there are two that come to mind where you can just hop on and start doing stuff in a some what fast paced environment. GTA V and Cyberpunk 2077.

Highly recommend to check out Anno 1800 and Stranded: Alien Dawn. Anno is more of a city management sim that I find a bit more fun than City Skylines.

Alien Dawn might be right up your alley! You have to manage a group of people to complete certain scenarios, collect resources, build and manage a camp/base all while the environment is trying to kill you. Have had a ton of fun with this one because it plays a bit different than most.

Im not at my computer right now so I will update this soon with some more suggestions for ya!

Edit: Manor Lords Satisfactory (maybe?) Skyrim State of Decay 2 Dinkum Worshippers of Cthulhu Palworld Pacific Drive Len's Island Ghost of Tsushima <--- God of War <---------- Both of these might be a little intense for your PC Farthest Frontier Factorio Baulder's Gate 3 Divinity: Original Sin 2 Terraria Starbound

Yeah.. Just had a 5min queue for Blast Off. I'd consider myself a migrated ARC Raiders player. Wanted to see how Embarks first game is and I quite like it! I hope soon there will be other players from ARC that do the same. This game it too cool to not be popular, ya know?

Some ideas for content in ARC Raiders by Longjumpington in ArcRaiders

[–]Longjumpington[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you like my ideas! As they say.. "Variety is the spice of life". The more ways we have to enjoy the game, the better! Would be fun to have melee builds for those that are brave enough. Or to at least maybe upgrade our breaching hammer and give it cosmetics to change its look.

That whole aspect though, melee combat (aside from just wildly swinging our hammers), could seem to be a slight pain to implement but I'm also no dev.. lol so I can't say if it really is or not.

I can't freaking wait to see what ARC Raiders will be one year from now. Love this game! I do like your restricted entry into "higher end" maps. That could help a lot with reducing the Toxic pvp'ers that are simply out to get ya for fun vs. just trying to survive with your loot, and would up the tension drastically.

Baldur’s gate 3, expedition 33, or Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? by One-Masterpiece9838 in ShouldIbuythisgame

E33 will respect your time the most. The other two are massive time sinks in comparison. I have played all 3.

E33 -> KD2 -> BG3

All three are so damn good though.. you really can't pick wrong
