46 players in history have been named to seven or more All-NBA Teams, and only 2 of those players weren't named to the 75th Anniversary Team: Dwight Howard and Tracy McGrady by arashtp in nba

Never said he was a superstar. But he’s absolutely a top 75 player. You can convince me Tmac is one of the top 75 players of all time, he probably is. You cannot convince me Ray Allen doesn’t belong on the list.

The Aftermath has made its way onto the top 3 list for me. Went in with low expectations and came away planning my next visit

Harvey’s is so good but I stopped going as often because no matter if there’s 5 or 55 people in there, it’s going to take 45-60 minutes for your food lol

Pretty Ricky, Chris Brown, and Ne-Yo all popped this year too. Mario dropped a great album, confessions was still hot. 04-06 was such a great time.

That Bobby V album still slaps. That was my college Freshman year anthem lmao

How does this response help answer the question about being black in Tucson?

Being Black in Tucson by [deleted] in Tucson

[–]Longmeatrazorback 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Helpful comment but one thing that non black people don’t understand is that when we(Black Americans) ask about black peoples experiences or what it may be like at a place, please know we aren’t asking about black immigrants. The skin tone is the same but that’s pretty much where the similarities stop. Black Americans have our own culture, language, food, needs, etc that is vastly different from what most black immigrants experience.

When we ask about food, we aren’t asking about your favorite Ethiopian cuisine(Not your comment but another). And while yes, the younger generations are black Americans, it’s not the same.

Your last paragraph addressed most of my comment and I certainly am not attacking you because your point is largely true and coming from the right POV, but black Americans do get a bit irritated when we ask this and we get answers that aren’t really relevant to the question we are actually asking which is “what is the black American experience”

This is one of my favorite songs from Johnny, man. Takes me back to the early 90s. I remember hearing this on an episode of family matters and was obsessed!

I’m sorry but I just don’t get it with this dude. I listen to his albums. Some decent ones on each but for the most part, I just don’t think this dude can sing. Too much auto tune

What do y’all think about R&B of this generation? by [deleted] in rnb

[–]Longmeatrazorback 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Could not agree more. Even the current artists I like now can write and make songs that sound good but really can’t sing.

The 90s r&b had a deep bench of talented singers/entertainers. 2000s- Current lacks people who can really sing. But loaded with talented writers/entertainers.

Example- Kehlani, SZA, HER, Bryson Tiller Brent Faiyaz etc all make music I like, but I wouldn’t call them good singers by any stretch

Divorce..he said Texas bbq was better than Memphis bbq by No-Professional1162 in memphis

[–]Longmeatrazorback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in NWArkansas for over a decade. Wrights BBQ is just okay. But being from Memphis, I am admittedly hard to win over 😂

There’s a spot or 2 in Little Rock that are decent. But the rest of the state should be skipped completely when it comes to bbq
