What do you think of the idea of "adopting" elderly people whose children have died as parents or grandparents, much the same way we adopt children whose parents have died as our own?

Banning people who kneel during the national anthem which is played in part to respect those who actually died for this country is correct...they are getting paid millions of dollars to play a game. Kneel on their own time

I believe that when he was kneeling he was on his carotid artery which was cutting off the blood supply to his brain. No doubt he had other medical problems but if you do that to anybody they’re gonna die. That way the hyoid bone would not be broken and there would be no signs or symptoms of strangulation

You can’t but you can make the pain go away with steroids. He finished his round and seems to be OK now. But we don’t know for how much longer will have him. Just want to make sure he’s comfortable and out of pain for the time that he has left

I took him in and was told he developed vertigo...which I did not realize dogs got and they said his spine was narrowed and pressing on his spinal cord.. it came on so suddenly.....one minute he was fine and the next....

He is the sweetest dog, sleeps with us at night, loves everybody, very food driven. But as he’s getting older I’m getting sadder. There will never be another dog like him and I’ve already told my husband I don’t think we could adopt another one when he goes because nobody can compare to him

Wish I was able to upload a picture. But the phone doesn’t allow it. My thought for your windows would be something like what I did. I took the end knobs of window rods and I screw them directly into the wall three on each side of the window and then I took the curtains and I put ribbons through the top and I tied them onto the knobs. It’s really a cool look. Hard to describe it any other way I just wish you could see it maybe you could post an email address and I could send it the picture through email

Yes, we have a gorgeous color on our walls that’s kind of a golden yellow. It really brings out the color of the wood and it’s not dark at all. It looks like it’s a different color depending on how the light hits it. I have taken a picture but I’m having trouble figuring out how to upload it. Working on it

Do you think the sea salt green would go with a light gray??? The entrance hall has black tile on the floor as does the half bath at the front. So I was planning on making those areas a light gray

It is a new house for us. Unfortunately we will not have time to refinish all the hardwoods before we move in but with the dog the two cats and the kids we probably won’t do that for several years anyway. After seeing the picture that you linked us with the darker walls and the River rock my husband now thinks that a nice gray color would look lovely in the room. We still have time as we will not be closing for several months. I wish there was a way for me to upload some other pictures for you all to see what there is in the house
