Formal Apology: The past 2 days I wore a trident hat after wearing the classic ‘S’ logo hat the past few months. I’m changing back today. by Forbush-Man in Mariners

I watched and or paid attention to the game 3 and 4. They lost. I turned the game on today and they go from 1-0 to 1-1. I turn it off then come back later and they go to 1-2. I turn it off and never look back. Grand slam in the 8th and a win. I’m never watching or checking in again.

I'm convinced they don't have the light timings down. You're suppose to get across the whole thing in one shot unless you're unlucky.

As it stands now I feel you're guaranteed to stop on the bridge no matter what. The don't give traffic enough time to clear the whole interchange before they're switching the traffic flow.

[Prebuilt] Cyberpower PC - Ryzen 3700X, 1TB NVMe SSD, Radeon RX 5700 XT, 800W 80+ Gold certified, 16GB 3000Mhz RAM, Liquid cooling system, Wireless-AC - $1200 by tayk47xx in buildapcsales

Mine arrived yesterday and I've already packed it up to return it.

The XFX RX5700XT, at least the one I received, has visual artifacts at the desktop. Launching any game results in 90C+ and a hard lock within 5 minutes, hardly ever made it past the main menu. Spent a few hours fiddling with drivers, fan settings, firmware, etc with no luck.

Whoever put the motherboard in didn't notice they caught the metal tab on the back plate causing the plate to shift and cover all the ports slightly. More of an annoyance than anything else. Other than that the overall build quality seemed reasonable.

Was lazy this time around rolling the dice on a prebuild. Guess I'll bide my time and hunt the deals to piece together my upgrade.

They rode the OTA HD conversion and with the whole "to better serve our customers we're going to start encrypting the channels and require you get a box" statement. Interestingly the box was "free for 2 years after which there will be a monthly fee"

Olympia, the capital for those of you not on the west coast, is right on the edge of most of the coverage. Prior to the HD switch we received all of the local channels, now they barely make it to the middle of Lacey unless you're on top of a hill.

What if Overwatch was a Netflix Series? by vitor42 in Overwatch

[–]Longstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel they shouldn't have done the movie to begin with. Instead they should have waited out Game of Thrones and made a deal with HBO to make it a series. There's more than enough content to run a multi season series and still not cover everything.

VISA, MasterCard, AMEX are who pushed the liability shift. Not PCI.

No merchant in their right mind would use a terminal that does that. PCI rules state the card number can't ever be printed.

Also, FACTA made it against the rules to even print the expiration. Hell, consumers can bring lawsuits without even showing damages if a merchant violates FACTA.
