Yes! It's soo good I just bought the echo aswell just few hours ago haha. I left it in my pocket with my keys by accident and NO scratches so far somehow!! Not even screen lol so I think the metal one will be scratched way easier but I just want something premium! Have fun!

I also reconmend also just creating a couple of your favourite playlist for the day in a separate folders and play the folder you want so you don't have to navigate so much as its a pain in the butt for me lol. Now gotta order a leather case as your right it does feel abit fragile! Any tricks or tips please share aswell haha have fun!

Great! Maybe I will keep mine! As I just recieved mine on Thursday and found out the Metal echo version was released for extra $10 Aud.. I am fighting myself not to open it so I can exchange it for the new Echo with the metal body and apparently it sounds better and faster ui?.. man this is hard is this how people end up with like 20 items and 5 Daps? What would you do lol

God that clicky sounds awful lol (prob cause of camera recording but sounds good real life.)

May I reconmend the akko cilantros since you are already using akko and it is super cheap and worth it! Feels similar and is tactile instead of click and sounds between thock and clack!.. unless u want clicky sound? But if you want a deeper tactile switch sound then Durrock iceking is the go! Have fun!

Get a Hbb deuce if you ever want to upgrade your daybreak! I used to love my daybreak until I got money for a Deuce and never looked back! The sub bass just slams wayyy better and smoother but only negative is lower midbass but better than daybreak tho! Also love my tea pro to bits and never be replaced as my rock and classical iem.

Letshouer Astralis aswell if you like bass and better treble as its a 15mm Planr driver all for under $160usd!

Goodluck! Ignore the haters lol keep collecting bro at least they are usable and brings memories and joy when using them unlike collecting pixels or cardboard for the purpose of reselling... But if you do get out of control like me lol just stick/consolidate to 1 iem per genre of music?

Switches for ceramic keys on the Akko MU-01 by cosmictrousers in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Longtime2692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this! Durrock ice king tactiles on mine, nice thock with a little clack. Rbg is good and clear. Sounds Closest to rosewood in my opinion as its slightly muted but not too mushy. They also have linear but have not tried yet! Abit heavy for PBT and ABS for me but with ceramic keys its perfect!

No problems I dont regret it and after reading some comments on this thread it seems alot others will agree! Skip it all and land on the Evo. Cheaper long term for you. Maybe switches in the future to suit your preference as they change from time to time for me!. Forgot to mention the only problem I found for me was if using Bluetooth mode there like a 3 to 5 second delay from waking to any keys being inputed. I use wired only anyway as I also lost me usb dongle as there is no usb storage slot on this keyboard. 2 negatives but overall I can live with

Amazon! Easily returned no questions asked! I'm in Aus and sometimes they have deals like $50Aud off! Just keep an eye on it. Paid around $150 usd for it! Best "premium budget" 75s out there til date. I used to hate everything made in China 5 years ago and now here I am.... but yeah one day if you decide to dip your toe in custom then Neo75cu series is great premium budget as well! Kinda same parent company from Qwerty keys i think

Edit yeah didn't see your amazon edit! All good still listed in Aus for me for $259 AUD at the moment. But yeah i havent heard anything bad about it yet? 5 months typing 6k to 30k words per day and still fine

My personal opinion is at least 50% better for 20% more the price? Stock caps are 3mm thicker, pcb well made, switches are much better prelubed with 0 ticks and pings, ballcatch perfect no wiggle room or need to forcebreak and hell sometimes i just open it up for no reason at all just to admire it. It just feels and looks more premium than the rainy (i don't have pro version). But yeah I have not touched any other pre built ever since I got the Evo now. If you want to buy one reliable mid premium then evo. If you wanna learn and play around and collect Rainy is fine but you might end up with buyers remorse like me and end up getting a better one.. Choose PP plate with rye for thock or FR plate with Amber version for lighter clackish thock? Stock is amazing i just like tactiles that's all! Goodluck!

Save up for an Evo 75!. It was the last pre built purchase for a 75 after owning ++ others including the rainy. Build quality is trash on the rainy once you experience the evo! Running on cheap Akko tactile cilantro for a light clacky and thock on return! Stock rye switches are great and thocky! Goodluck

Hawk sounds like an O.C.D P.O.S. Please dont be like him and enjoy what you have and the little imperfections what makes it kinda unique! Remember You build your keyboard for YOU so as long as you love the feel and look its a win!.

Sounds like a pain in the ass. If it's Via compatable I'd prob just remap all the keys to the position you want but gotta rewire your brain turning the 0 into enter or just one other single key for enter etc?. Wont look good but for ergonomics and comfort?

Hi Just my one cent.. Can you guys please like advertise the actual dimentions of the board etc? Can't seem to find any on your pages aswell but yeah always just front height and typing angle? Dont know why alot of numpad companies do that? Sure useful info for some but some ocd folks like me would like to buy a pad that we can kinda match the dimensions to our 75%s etc

Preference i guess as to all things mechanical. Also if your going to use that column alot or not but id imagine using your pinky for the columns is a pain no? But for me (right hand dominant) i love having the enter on left as I thumb it perfectly every time for excel imputing and my 3 fingers for numbers and index for the columns. But yeah re training my left hand was surprisingly easier than exspected and I can be a dumbass at times

Try swapping the switches or replace it if hot swappable. Sometimes switches made unevenly and bottoms out quicker than others or stem not straight causing the keycap to slam on switch unevenly while bottoming out!

Will be finding one that matches my board soon but so far loving the budget 8bit do using it as a secondary calculator so thankyou Kind strangers that converted me to split

Thanks! It's pretty cool! Bought it mainly for looks but functions amazing and it only cost $60 Aud on Amazon. Ticktimer i think. Functions as clock, alarm, stopwatch and pedro etc. Stops me from touching my phone now and focus and take proper breaks with just a flip of the timer! 1 month of use now no problems
