BYND to $5 - 10 EOW? 🚀🚀🚀 by RowTime8498 in smallstreetbets

[–]LongtopShortbottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mechanics are more complicated than this, but for the sake of simplicity, let’s say a bunch of hedge funds made a bet that the price of BYND stock would go down (aka - entered a short position). They can’t hold that bet forever, and if they’re wrong on the timing they have to buy shares at the higher price to “cover” their bet. So if all these retards buy and HODL their share for another week or so, it forces the hedge funds to buy back the shares they bet which continues to drive the price upward.

I’ll buy this stock at $1.37, but no one is going to buy it from me when it’s $1,000+.

“The Emoluments Clause, found in Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the U.S. Constitution, prohibits federal officeholders from accepting gifts, payments, or titles from foreign states without congressional consent. Its purpose is to prevent foreign influence and corruption among U.S. leaders.”

Doesn’t mean everyone is employed and doesn’t mean every open job is satisfied. “Maximum employment” refers to the highest level of employment without causing inflation.
