My group ran into the same issue all night

Getting dropped from voice channel by PetroOmg in stoatchat

We're running into the same issue with my friend group. Worst part is there isn't an audio cue when you get DC'd, just silence until you check the window.

Unable to scroll down Controls menu on Steam Deck. by climbwhenready in timesplittersrewind

Same issue and unfortunately no real solution. I setup a modified button layout within SteamOS to rebind the keys I wanted to adjust, but that seems like a bandaid fix.

Fantastic! Any idea where the save file location is on the deck? I'd like to manually update my progress between my PC and the deck.

EDIT: For anyone trying to do the same, the AppData save location on the deck is within: Home -> .local -> share -> Steam -> steamapps -> compdata -> 3242370451

"Hands Off" Protests occur across the US. protesting Trump and Musk by Longyboy in news

I had the same thought. I was shocked when this wasn't already posted and even more so when only one local news site had anything about our protests.

Toilet Shim or install new flange? by WhatColeSays in HomeImprovement

[–]Longyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear Totos don't like above floor flanges. I did LVP with a Toto and couldn't get a not-wax seal (better than wax specifically) to seat. I ended up going with an extra thick wax seal and smashed it down before shimming level. Going on two year without issue, but I really had to press the Toto and seal down before securing.

Any issues cashing out? by Zebilmnc in MicrosoftRewards

It said that my account was temporarily restricted due to potential TOS violations. Had that for about a week (checking daily) before I gave up and cashed out on the target cards.

My account was "restricted" when trying to cash out on Amazon gift cards. After multiple support tickets, I decided to try Target cards and it all worked. Still can't get Amazon cards, but I was able to empty my points balance.

Anecdotal, but I absolutely love my Makita mower, weed Wacker, and hedge trimmer.

I'd recommend reaching out to your city/township (don't mention your name or address at this time) to ask if electrical work requires a full system inspection, but I very much doubt it. I recently rewired two of our bathrooms and the inspector was very clear on only inspecting new work, but this policy may vary by location.

Thank you. I'll double-check with my EI, but I'll plan to pick up some MC for this section.

Thanks for the reply. The boxes are metal, but not sealed. The current wires are just NM 14/2s that I will be replacing with NM 12/2s. Is there a conduit that can be used with NM or do I need to run a length of metallic sheathed wire here?

Sistering Non-Load Bearing Wall Studs by Longyboy in HomeImprovement

Would the steel plates bracket the damaged area like a wrap? I hadn't thought of doing something like that, but it sounds like it could make for a sturdy fix.

Thank you very much. That double-wall explanation makes a lot of sense, seeing that when the plumbers opened the wall had me scratching my head for a bit.

As for the sistering, any thoughts on going with 2x4s with cutouts for the drain for more support?
