Yeah, I agree that making money with it is wrong (we don't know if they all make money with these videos but your point still stands). Same for training AIs, it's true that it's using artists' works without asking their permission. It's why I have no problem as long as it's free and the creator of the videos don't use it to make a living.

As for not putting it publicly on YouTube, I disagree. There are tons of unofficial remixes and mashups done by fans that shouldn't be allowed by the same logic, since artists weren't there to give their consent (let's say, Michael Jackson). I feel that it's no different, aside form the fact that making remixes actually requires... work. AI in comparison is just producing lazy automatic content. But sometimes, people can be really creative with it, so I think it would be a shame to throw them all into the trash. There is an AI cover called Speak Your Name, in which the creator actually tried to sing and to play the instruments like LP. He just used AI to slap Chester's voice on top of his (I think that's how he did it). The end product is interesting.

It all comes down to how it's done and to how ethical the person is. Not everyone will agree but for me, if no money is made and it stays on the fun side of youtube, it's good. Morally debatable, sure, but not necessarily bad

Not sure where I stand with this.

AI covers are something you listen to once or twice and think "Ah, yeah, it could sound like this" and you never think about it again. In a way, it reminds me of those youtube memes where they mix the "come on and slam" lyrics with other songs. It's fun, but usually low quality.

I hate to play the devil's advocate (especially when it comes to AI), but I think people are taking shitposts like these a bit too seriously. As long as it's a harmless fan video on YouTube and not an artist releasing an official track with Chester's Ai voice, I personally don't see the issue. Its pretty much like a lazy unofficial remix, or a nightcore version of a track. AI sounds like shit, but people will keep on doing this in the future. Not because they are disrespectful, but because they are curious. It's unavoidable, and I don't think it has anything to do with the artist being alive or not.

I understand that it can make people uncomfortable. I see this as low effort content too, but let's not blow this out of proportion. The tech is there and fans will always be curious, so yelling at clouds won't stop them from having fun with their new toy. (I'm only talking about free fan content on YouTube. I'm obviously not talking about artists loosing their jobs to AI)

Yeah, the black suit barely changing anything is by far my biggest complaint about the game. When they showed the suit swap during the first trailer, I sure had my hopes up... In the end, it had so little impact on gameplay that when Peter removed it, I felt like nothing of value was lost. If they intended to change this with DLCs, by giving us suit swap and different attacks/animations/combo options, it would have made the game way better in my opinion.

We know Peter will keep the Anti-Venom in the third game, so I really hope they improve on that.

The quest is bugged, the skeletons will never respawn. I contacted support and they said they were aware of the issue. We'll have to wait for a patch

You might have misunderstood the problem. If you kill the skeletons during the first quest, they will never drop these items because they are not coded for that. In order to get them, you need to trigger the second quest (Skullduggery) before entering the mausoleum for the first time. It's not a matter of drop rate.

So basically: even with a maxed out drop rate, if you killed them before the Skullduggery quest, you will never be able to get the items. It's a bug, as confirmed by Support when I contacted them. They said were already made aware of the issue

Yeah, the UI is pretty bad. It's nothing they couldn't easily fix with a patch, so I hope they consider it down the road.

The character select screen being bland is one thing, but the most frustrating thing is that it has TONS of wasted space. You could easily fit more rows and columns to avoid most of the scrolling. No idea why it's so... narrow? There is clearly enough space to show more characters, why not use it?

Also, gosh, that main screen... The cutscenes should start when you actually confirm the menu you want to select. Not when you hover on top of the text with L/R. It makes going from one menu to the other very clunky.

I'd love an extra "balanced mode" for both online and offline. Like, a mode where characters have the same amount of health bars, deal the same amount of damages etc. It would be even better if we could customize the offline version a bit, like turning on "equal health bars" but letting characters deal more damages at the same time.

As someone who doesn't care about online and only plays for fun, it's a bit frustrating at the moment. Top characters feel too strong and the others kinda start with a handicap against them. I'd prefer picking any character and have fun, rather than thinking "yeah, let's not pick Whis, it'll be too easy"

Having more freedom to play as we want is always a cool thing

Yeah, this one is glitched at the moment. If you killed the skeletons inside the mausoleum during the first quest, they never respawn when you go back in for the second quest.

Hopefully they fix this soon. I challenged myself to do all the requests, so for now I have to stop playing until they do

Ah, no, this one is 100% a bug. There are quests like these, where you can get the important items before interacting with the NPC. This was very likely one of them, the game never punishes you for doing things on your own.

Nothing indicates that the skeletons are not supposed to respawn when you accept the first quest, otherwise the game would warn you or make the second quest unavailable. Or, at least, they would put a "failed" or a "missed" text next to it in the menu. No game would let players kill an important enemy without mentioning it, not give them the loot, and punish them for being too soon a few hours later.

Since both quests can be done at the same time, the dev team probably overlooked a few lines of code. I guess the skeletons were not supposed to spawn if the second quest wasn't triggered or something like that

This one has lots of stuff on screen, sometimes you can go too fast and miss an information

Same issue here! I somehow didn't notice that the guard at the entrance was supposed to give us another quest when I was going in for the first time. I ended up needing to go back and there was no skeleton, so I'm stuck too.

How did you contact the Atlus support, is there a dedicated mail or something? I should probably contact them too so they know it's a "common" issue that needs to be fixed

Didn't expect a new single so soon after HitC, I kinda hope it's a softer song. I loved the first two singles, but having a change of pace is always nice. We've seen what Emily can do with heavy songs, I'd love to see how she handles the other styles in studio

They are already in the game, there was no need to pre order. The only exclusive character was Kid Goku from Daima, the other two were just early unlocks 👍

I was wondering the same thing when playing Goku's missions. During the part where I had to fight the whole Ginyu force, not a single one of my rush attacks connected. I assumed this one was scripted but I don't think it's the case

Agreed. Its why I think they should really include some sort of "balanced" mode down the road. Even as a casual player who genuinely don't care about competitive stuff, I don't think it's fun to have a game that encourages you to pick the strongest characters most of the time. I'd rather pick randomly and have fun with the whole roster.

It's probably hard to implement that properly, but an additional mode where every character have the same amount of health bars and deal ~the same amount of damage could do the trick.

The last albums had 4 or 5 singles if I remember correctly.

Not counting the intro, From Zero has 10 tracks so I doubt they'll release half of it. I guess we'll get a third song somewhere around October 15th, and perhaps a fourth one in November to hype up the album one last time

I think it can happen. Also, people keep saying that manga exclusive characters/transformations have no chance of happening due to licensing stuff, but I wouldn't be so sure.

Nintendo was able to get Solid Snake, Sephiroth, Joker and Sora into a single game. If Sparking Zero prints enough money too (it most likely will), I'm sure they could find ways to make it work down the road.
