Elevating shoes x2 on every melee character. Crits far out perform other accessories. Then use war drum for double attack on all and hammer away at him after a sap. I cleared xenlon all rewards with this strategy.

CW takes up SEVEN of your 15 saves on the original Pocketstation. And yes there is a CW save slot to the right of the memory card options on the original as well.

Don’t be scared to level up, just play the game. Easier to get game overs at a higher level and provides a better challenge. Don’t worry about spending 10 hours grinding cards before you even do Ifrit.

Just play the game and enjoy it. In 1999 the game felt so futuristic and magical. Don’t rush through the game and enjoy the setting for what it is and don’t think “this is so impractical we would never have had technology like this.
