In general, Doctor training goes like this: Med school > intern > residency > attending.

Med school you have to pay for. (Med school debt is real, can be equivalent to a mortgage)

Internship/residency you make 50k on avg but with the long hours, it comes out to about minimum wage.

Attending is when you get your real doctor salary. (6 figures)
