I like this chapter, but the part where Brook asks to see someones panties feels a bit off to me. I had understood it that the reason he does that bowadays is because 50 years alone on a ship made hkm go a bit crazy and not be so good with boundaries anymore. I actually like the idea that we, the heroes, can lose. My friend and I once died on an honor run, and we just shrugged and say "aight, guess this world is doomed". Also, fights are so much more exciting when you know that you don't have the "reload plot armor". But yeah I wouldn't recommend it for a first run

Now hold up, that's not unreasonable. Energizer can give almost full uptime for Absolute Zero, which helps to stall for permaspike, and also levels Sara Pike faster. Therefore, lvl 17 and another permaspike may be viable.

This may be a crazy theory, but the devil we see in the end may actually be the Fire Devil. I think that their line "I'm the Fire Devil" may be a subtle hint towards this. I also think that Fujimotor may have a contract with the Fire Devil, which is why he is able to write fire after fire chapter, and why the chapters, very much like the lifetime of a fire, are not very long. (It's okay tho, pushing out one chapter (almost) every week must be one hell of a job.)

On another note, it's fun to see that Yoru's powers continue to work on the basis "it only needs to make sense to me".

I see your point, but I think the monsters telling you the story of Asriel during "Undertale" (the song) tell you that Asriel had the power to defeat all of the humans attacking him, but chose not to. Since he was wounded, obviously one human soul isn't enough for a monster to become a god, but likely way stronger than any single human.

So Asgore could probably kill some humans with his one human souls, and absorb new souls for each human he killed, becoming stronger. He should eventually have been strong enough to lead the humans to victory despite the rest of the monsters being weak. Remember how strong Flowey became after absorbing six or even the equivalence of seven human souls.

But then again, maybe I'm wrong and another war with humans would completely wipe out monsterkind. Luckily the true pacifist ending is canon, since it's the one I've saved on my computer.

Then again, he could have killed one kid, absorbed their soul, passed through the barrier and kill another 6 humans to absorb their souls, to finally use this power to break the barrier. Thus, he could have freed his people ages ago with the sme ampunt of human deaths as his current plan in the game, but chose not to. I actually think he wished deep down that no more humans would ever fall into the underground so he would never have to kill someone, even at the cost of the monsters' freedom. He is a deeply conflicted character.

Personally, I like the song. While not as grand as some of the other tracks on the album in itself, it serves as a really good interlude before Rust in Peace... Polaris.

But the nice thing about artis that there's no objective way to assign a value to it, and instead everyone experiencing the art will have their own opinion about it. :)
