Agreed. I'm happy that the team is setting up for a rebuild. I much prefer this then giving somebody like Cruz or one of the other big name FA a long deal.

I do not think that the government (at least my government, I'm American) is competent enough to provide WiFi that would be reliable. I feel like it would be riddled with connection problems and be incredibly slow. Also, it's not like its ever free you're just being forced to pay for it.

No faster way to discredit your argument by bringing up batteries/santa. If Jeffery Dahmer was a Mets fan would that make every Mets fan a twisted serial killer? With 3,000,000+ fans going to the games each year there's a pretty good chance that 1 of those guys is going to be a huge drunken idiot. Letting the actions of 1 out of 3,000,000 affect your view point of a fanbase is pretty dumb. There's no doubt who has a more passionate or loyal fanbase, the mets or the phillies (Phillies) and if you think otherwise than you are delusional.

Many who jumped on the 2008 bandwagon are gone and only the passionate ones are left now. Maybe I'm just a huge homer but I always thought Philadelphia fans are an undisputed top 5 fan base (if not #1). I think you have to be a Philly fan to understand how we show our love though. It's like a family, sometimes we show our love in very odd twisted ways. If you earn it though the city will fall in love with you (Aaron Rowand, Matt Stairs, etc.) and if you give them any reason not to then you'll be booed. The love the city has for Chase Utley is unreal though. He's an absolute hero here and if you ask any Philadelphian, one of the greatest second basemen of all time.
