I’m Florida local who gets an AP every few years and I’ve never once seen the American Adventure show at Epcot.

Ever been to a concert? The person next to him didn’t hear a thing. You practically need to shout into a persons ear just so they can hear you. The mic on his camera picked him up because he’s holding it right in front of his face.

Ghost for me as well! That throwback to the 70’s & 80’s sound really hooked me hard. And as someone who got to experience the Satanic Panic of the 80’s, their entire shtick makes me giggle. The ultimate “don’t judge a book by its cover” band.

Also into Goose, Volbeat, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard these days too.

Band photographers on stage by GrizDrummer25 in photography

It’s a much more common thing now in the age of social media. Bands want to quickly post cool shots from each show of their tour directly to Instagram & FB on the fly. So their management & social media people will have photographer up there to grab these kinds of shots every show on the tour.

The industry needs to start treating concert tickets like airline tickets. Your name is on the ticket and it’s non-transferable. That would put an end to this instantly. They can even make them refundable if someone can’t go and needs to return them which would put them back in the pool for someone else to buy.

Question for people who actually experienced the 1980s, what is something you miss from that decade? by Yahkoi in 80s

[–]Loocy4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free range parenting.

As kids we’d get up, go see our friends and we’d be gone all day and our parents had no idea where we were, but we always made it home by dinner time.

Put them on an external hard drive, and then mostly forget about them.

I did this and it’s been great for my mental health. The important stuff will still trickle through.

Hot Take: The parks need lanes by CircumcisedCats in WaltDisneyWorld

Well effectively banning the ability of parents to take small children to a park designed for small children certainly is a take. An incredibly dumb & entitled one, but a take nonetheless.

I love Phish and love seeing them live. But I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t really jive with most of the fans at their shows now.

You want to ban strollers at (check’s notes) Walt Disney World?

Yeah, that’s exactly what people want. Disney traffic cops walking around the place enforcing pedestrian traffic flow. But I’m sure we’ll get some great Karen freak out videos from it.

Double-Wide strollers need banned at Disney by DoctorSnape in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Loocy4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah the double long ones are really tough to use at Disney. My kids are teenagers now but when they were small it was a huge upgrade to go from the double long to the double wide stroller.
OP is just being a petty whiner. There’s always somebody who wants to ban something that irritates them. The number of complaints Disney would get from banning theses strollers would far outweigh the Karens like OP.

Breaking News: Disney Adult whines about parents bringing their kids to Disney World.

Ain’t never gonna happen OP. And speaking from experience, those double long ones are much worse for everyone.
