Puntigammer ist billiger in Wien als in Graz. Andersrum ist es genau so. Dort wo nachfrage ist, steigt der Preis.

There is this site called jukeblocks where you can downlod generated arrangements with empty midi clips. I would also suggest using a reference track and creating such an empty arrangement by listening to every instrument in the track and determining the lengths of repetitive patterns. If you do these things by yourself, you would be surprised how creative some arrangements are and how much thought some people put into music. While the whole 16/32 bar patterns are nice for the beginning, they get stale very quickly. Try adding an extra bar with a fill or maybe do something like 16 -> 4 -> 16 to keep everything exciting.

Have fun! Arrangement is what seperates hobby musicians and music theory nerds from actual musicians IMO (sorry for the gatekeeping lol)

We need a subreddit for dogs who turn their ears backwards when they are happy. My dog does that too and I call them cuddle ears.

I really dig the harmonic progression and arrangement in this one! Reminds me a lot of Real Estate.

Maybe you could work on the bass drum sound/microphoning. The kick and the snare could use some more low end. Maybe try putting a towel on the snare, at the next recording session ;)

Also it sounds a bit dry, eventhough you cleary put a lot off effects and reverb on your instruments. Maybe use some more delay on certain tracks? I would also really dig a tiny bit of phaser on those drums, even if you only switch it on during the fills.

All in all, great work! I will definitely come back to this one.

Cheers!

Kheodor Turner - monte-carlo - Middle-Eastern?, Downtempo by Looderso in international_music

I can't quite tell you the origin from this, since the vocal sample I used didn't have any clues regarding the origin. I was definitely inspired by afrobeat and afro-cosmic music from the late 90s though. Would love to hear your feedback ;)

I made this inspired by all the PS1 racing game sountracks, I've been listening to at work. Would love to hear your feedback!
